Great card for the price!
Pros: For an easily over-clockable card this MSI GeForce is hard to beat. It has a small overall length which makes it good for smaller cases, but do note that the fan on here will take up essentially two slots. Newegg got this to me in 1 day!!!! That was with the free-shipping option too!
Cons: I had some problems with the install, but that was related to trying to put this into a Dell XPS 8700 (you have to update the BIOS first); not related to the card at all, that's a Dell issue. No cons for the card
Overall Review: The installation software has some minor bloat-ware stuff; there are check-boxes to install Nortan and some other stuff. I recognize that this has become the norm in the software world, but it really isn't necessary.
Superb "game!!"
Pros: This "game" is an exceptional and fun way to learn how to play, or improve on your playing. It's easy to use, easy to follow along, and creates a new method for learning that sets a constant challenge for just about all skill levels.
Cons: A few minor bugs in the software/hardware. Have had to restart the program a handful of times because the USB to audio jack wasn't picking up my guitar. The game is fairly hardware intensive - make sure you've got enough power to push it!
Overall Review: Overall this is an exceptional and unique program. As long as your guitar is in good shape and the intonation is good, this is a lot of fun. Even if you already know how to play, this is still a lot of fun and great for learning new skills and/or improving on some bad habits!
Excellent Drive!
Pros: BIOS detected the drive no problem; had unpacked my drive, tore apart my Asus Netbook, installed the drive, and installed Ubuntu 12.04 in under 1 hour. An SSD is a MUST for a netbook. The performance boost was easily noticeable.
Cons: I'm still uncomfortable for the cost of SSD's. I got this drive on special at $50 with free shipping so I'm not all that upset.
Overall Review: Really, I got exactly what I paid for and I can't complain about anything. SSD's will continue to come down in price, so I'm satisfied with what I paid for this. Ubuntu 12.04 on my netbook was TERRIBLE with the original HDD. The SDD has improved the performance enough where my little Asus performs just as well as my standard laptop.
Great for what it is
Pros: It does exactly what it says it will do. 7.1 effects from two speakers. The utilities work fine, and I've had no problems with the drivers in WINXP. If you are using a laptop (or PC) with a cheesy sound card, this is a nice cheap upgrade.
Cons: Nothing worthy of noting
Overall Review: I have used this for gaming and listening to music. The sound difference between my D600 work laptop output (snaps, crackles and pops) and the USB output (nothing but what I'm playing) is amazing.
