Works fine but do not use WD software
Pros: USB 3.0 = fast transfers. Very small for a 3TB drive. Brushed metal looks cool (bottom is black plastic but who cares).
Cons: The drive makes a clicking sound once in a while that makes me nervous, but from WD forums it states that noise is the drive head parking to save power/prevent damage if dropped. If they say so.
Overall Review: Do not use the WD encryption software. It is not secure (Google it). If you use Microsoft Windows then use Bitlocker instead. I am not sure how useful integration with Dropbox is. Most people use Dropbox for live files (files they access frequently), not exclusively for backups, so it doesn't make sense to me. If you are using Dropbox for backups only you might as well use Carbonite (unlimited space for 1/2 the price).
Junk
Pros: None
Cons: I bought it a few years ago and just started using it this past few months with my car stereo. The second time I tried to update the mp3 files I keep on it the card went into read-only mode. I cannot format it, I cannot write to it and I cannot erase any files on it. I will stay clear of Sandisk in the future.
Much improved speed over AV+
Pros: - Solid connection between downstairs kitchen and upstairs back bedroom in a house built 2 years ago. - Point-to-point connections between 210 to 300 mbps (old AV+ kit peaked at 60 mbps). - Full duplex. Yes, this is important. - Solid connection and ping times to game servers. - 100% compatible with my old AV+ kit. All the units work together on the same Powerline network with the older units working at their slower speed.
Cons: - Slightly larger than my old AV+ units, but they don't block the 2nd outlet plug so who cares. - AV+ kits (DHP-309AV) at half the cost would probably work just as well for the majority of users. - AV2 kits (DHP-700AV) might work better in an older home (MIMO seems to have more solid connections over farther distance).
Overall Review: Benchmarks using LAN Speed test:

DHP-700AV - 210 mbps (26.2 Mbps)
DHP-309AV - 60 mbps (7.5 Mbps)

* The DHP-700AV units occasionally peaked at up to 300 mbps (37.5 Mbps). The score above is a VERY conservative average over several days of testing.
Worked Just Fine
Pros: Installed and working perfectly. Set the memory to the XMS profile in the BIOS and booted right up at 2133MHz on an Intel X79 chipset motherboard.
Cons: None.
Solid Board
Pros: Bought last Sept. After 1 year of use the board is as solid as any board I have owned. Fast and stable with a non-OC'd i3930k.
Cons: None.
Works Great
Pros: Bought one from Neweggflash last week. Works great. Windows 7 laptop and Windows 8.1 Surface both recognized it immediately and installed the generic drivers.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Maybe the other people got bad units, but the one I got works perfect.
