Looks cool! (800w Version)
Pros: Cord modularity, sweet LEDS.
Cons: None yet?
Overall Review: I got a little scared reading the few negative reviews about random failures down the line, and destruction of other hardware. I'm especially scared as I've had bad luck with power supplies. However, I trust newegg's brand, and I'm not running a home server off this puppy like some people tried with the 1000w. If it fails, I'll update...
Piece of *doo-doo* (newegg is run by christians apparently)
Pros: Its light which i assume means there's nothing f'in in it.
Cons: I got this specifically so I could install dd-wrt on it. Others have also specifically said its easy to flash onto this router -- and it was. It turned on, I accessed the admin page. It was fine. An hour later apparently it bricked itself. This thing is a piece of ******** and d-link should shoot themselves for being such miserable failures of a tech company. DON'T GET THIS UNLESS YOU WANT A WORTHLESS PAPERWEIGHT WITH A WORTHLESS COMPANY'S LOGO ON IT.
Overall Review: **** you d-link
Works Flawlessly w/ Linux!
Pros: I needed more desktop space and I definitely got it with this honker! Worked flawlessly with an up to date Arch system(It's sad that I should fear something like a monitor not working). It also came with all the relevant cables, including hdmi to dvi.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: Alot of people here are claiming about ambiguous display configuration problems, like it's too bright, or the colors being off. I haven't played games in years, and I'm not a videophile. To me, this monitor looks great, and I just use redshift(f.lux for you sad fools using windows) to lower the brightness. It displays multiple terminal windows and HD video just fine. Why do you need anything else?
10 months in and it's dead.
Pros: None anymore.
Cons: Suddenly failed 10 months in. I didn't even use it for about 3 months! Tried to turn it on one morning, it turns on for a half second, LEDS and all, then dies. I thought it may be the mobo, but after seqentially disconnecting everything down to the mobo and cpu, AND THEN inserting it into a working computer to see the same result, I know its the psu. After reading a bunch of other similar reviews (most 8 months till failure??)I suspect this thing my have a failure timer in it somewhere. I'll give it a second go.. IF rosewill/newegg honors their warranty.
Overall Review: Stick with a reliable brand like corsair.
Working great a year later!
Pros: Sweet LED, simple case, easy HDD install.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Bought this a year ago, and forgot to review it. It's still going strong. No bloatware, its a passive device, as they should be. I've recently taking to just having the metal case off so I can listen to the drive and swap em out faster. Solid product.
Stupid tiny
Pros: Stupidy tiny.
Cons: Doesn't move a terrible amount of air (kinda expected that)
Overall Review: I bought two for an old slim dell optiplex to shove into the empty floppy bay. Definitely works, and adds a bit more air flow. I probably should have gone for 10mm larger. Meh...
