Very nice, as always
Pros: The simulated sine wave is a nice feature, and it works. Most PSU now have active PFC, so sine wave was a must, even if its simulated (not quite sure what that really means, but it works). I pulled the plug on the unit and my pc stayed on just fine. I have owned a few cyberpower units, and they have always been great (knock on wood).
Cons: None that I have ever found on any unit I own
Overall Review: If you have a power supply in your PC that has active power factor correction, you wont have any issue with these units as backups. I have a EVGA 750 GQ, and a MSI power supply. Both have PFC and these units keep the machines running after power failure
lasted for a few minutes
Pros: It's made of something that exists in this dimension and has a nice weight to it. It's shiny and has a nice sticker on it
Cons: I guess the reviews are true for the most part. These blue drives are unpredictable for the most part. If you get one that works, then you got lucky it seems. Im glad it failed before I had all my data on it. It failed in less than 10 minutes
Overall Review: Spend a little more and get a black drive. I thought I could get away with spending a little less. Lesson learned
Nice speakers for the price
Pros: Work fine so far. sound is clear and the bass is nice too. They seem awefully high in the midrange tones, but a quick EQ setting will fix that. That is not a fault of the speakers.
Cons: none so far (fingers crossed)
Overall Review: Since these are refurbished, I didnt know what to expect really. The subwoofer has a small ding on the corner and when I opened the box, the knob to turn them on and volume control was not attached to the base so I had to line up the knob and press it back onto the volume pod. Not a real big deal, but these werent packaged very well. Hard to say how that knob came off. All in all for the price, im fine with these things. The subwoofer sits on the floor and I dont even see it anyways, so the ding dont matter to me. The satellite speakers are in perfect cosmetic condition and still have the thin plastic protective stuff on the lower part.
Great router
Pros: Great router. just following up my previous review
Cons: The genie app will kill your internet speeds. I along with my brother own this router, and the app kills his and my internet after about 6 hours or so (it varies). It doesn't kill it completely, but will slow down your speeds DRASTICALLY. I go from 120mbit down to 10mbit down. Thats pretty drastic. I go from 12mbit up to 2mbit up. If you shutdown the app on your computer, everything will return to normal. I just wanted to post this to help any who may have an issue or are considering this router. Dont install the genie app, its mostly useless anyways. if you need to configure the router, just log into it in your browser
its ok I guess
Pros: its white and its cheap. Sound quality is fine. its a desktop telephone
Cons: Another reviewer said it takes 2 AA batteries when it actually takes 4 AA batteries. I didnt know this when I bought it. Nothing but the handset will work unless you put batteries in it. The speaker phone dont work, or any of the display without the 4 batteries. If you are fine with replacing batteries, then this phone will do the job. My only gripe is the batteries and the really short cord they give you for the handset. You will most certainly want a longer one, unless you want to sit back in your seat and drag the phone off the desk. Also, the LCD screen is not backlit
Great
Pros: Always burn flawlessly. Been using these for years. Verbatim is the only brand I have used that burns consistently, and so that is the only brand I buy
Cons: what cons?
Overall Review: I read reviews about taiwan and india made discs. I dont know what thats about, but if you are burning coasters, then you should check your computer and/or the software you are burning with. I only use NERO and have never burned one coaster that I can remember with these, and I have burned over 300 of these verbatim discs (I still have them all, I archive movies and data on them). Thats not to say it is impossible to happen, but not at the rate some of these reviewers have mentioned. Get a better computer or better software
