Great cooler

GELID Solutions GC-VGA02-02 Ball VGA Cooler
GELID Solutions GC-VGA02-02 Ball VGA Cooler

Pros: Installed onto a XFX R7950 DD Temps before install: Idle : 38 C Game play: 92 C+ Actually kicking off video, thus why I purchase this cooler. Temps after install: Idle: 34 C Game play and stress testing never get above 63 C. Fan is not half as noisy as the stock cooler and works a LOT better while game playing and stress testing.

Cons: Plugged fans into video card so when idle the fans are running at full speed 4k RPM. So I'm surprised the idle temps are not a little lower. This causes "noise" when just web surfing or editing compared to my old cooler. It's not annoyingly loud, but you hear them.

Overall Review: I have read that if you put the cooler fans onto your motherboard fan controller you can control the speed thus lessening the noise when idle. Installing the VRM heat sinks are little tedious, but worth the effort when you can see the results.

Pros: Updating review of "Wife loves it" Still loves it... even though she's VERY irritated.

Cons: It would loss the internet and not log back on even though she was right next to it. All our otehr Wi/Fi devices worked when farther away including her old Asus Tranformer Prime which has a major crack in the screen. She called Asus... long story short they the Support staff tried to sell her a $299.99 service plan to fix the issue, fortunately I came home just in time... Told me that the Kernal was messed up, and my internet had been comprimised... blah, blah... A simple Restore to Factory... type in wifes gmail account info... it's been working fine ever since. Again, I'm not sure if it's Asus's tablet support or what... but they keep trying to rip us off... I don't like it AT all! Hopefully she calls back and talks to a higher up to tell them the situation. Caveat Emptor (Buyer beware) I guess that was created specifically for companies like Asus.
