Pretty great!

Fractal Design North XL ATX mATX Mid Tower PC Case - Charcoal Black Chassis with Walnut Front and Mesh Side Panel - FD-C-NOR1X-01
Fractal Design North XL ATX mATX Mid Tower PC Case - Charcoal Black Chassis with Walnut Front and Mesh Side Panel - FD-C-NOR1X-01

Pros: Easy to build in, for the most part. The wooden front grille is exactly as beautiful in person. I love the front panel so far; the gold accents look great. It's whisper quiet (until it gets under load), and has great air flow. There's great space to force power cables into their spots, and it's required a lot less bending than other cases I've had. The included front fans are pretty clean to run power from the included fan hub to a 4pin port.

Cons: The back panel could have used more room for cable routing/stuffing. I've got my panel on to where it's not bowing outward, but just barely. The power supply basement is a little bit cramped, so I'd call fully modular a must especially if you're including a 3.5" HDD. More of a "me" issue as well was routing SATA cables was a bit of a pain. Organizing the cables through that back panel was a bit painful, period. Also like I said earlier, under a load the fans to get loud. Not rattly and whiny like some reviews I've seen claim, but a definite *whoosh*. If you're wearing headphones, probably not a huge deal. I'm curious how the wood front will hold up to heat and humidity. I don't have expectations here but I hope I'm being paranoid.

Overall Review: Love how it looks, love how it builds for the most part. I'm hoping it holds up well.

Great space, poor straps

Titanfall 2 Officially Licensed OGIO Backpack
Titanfall 2 Officially Licensed OGIO Backpack

Pros: -So far I have packed enough into the bag for a four day trip with a spare set of clothes, an xbox One, a laptop, and toiletries.

Cons: The straps straight-up suck. They're stiff, thin, and dig in.

Overall Review: Just don't tote it for too long at a time and you'll be fine.

Very quiet and cool, hit-or-miss drivers

SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 5700 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card 100417P8GL

Pros: -Runs cool and quiet -Performs excellent at 1080p.

Cons: -Absolute garbage drivers as of late. As of 9-5-19, I'm using driver 19.7.5 from July. Anything else causes Bluescreens during normal internet browsing, never with a consistent error code. Disabling hardware acceleration fixes it, but makes firefox screen tear like nothing I've ever seen. -Might stutter in some games (so far, A Hat in Time and Elite: Dangerous are the worst offenders) but that is undoubtedly down to Drivers.

Overall Review: FineWine will kick in eventually, might as well get a driver package that works for you and hunker down while you can get one of these for a good price.

It's pretty alright

MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card R9 390 GAMING 8G

Pros: -The custom fan profiles are awesome for low-power stuff like browsing and the like. The fans don't even start up until it gets past a certain temperature. -It's great at what it's meant for, for the most part. The games I have tried with it all maintain a good framerate, paired with my FX-8370e. All except for GTA V, though that's more a game problem. Elite:Dangerous still comes down to a slide-show framerate in certain parts, though again that's an Elite: Dangerous problem. -It's quiet!

Cons: The drivers are an absolute hot mess. I have the latest beta drivers and it still doesn't work... fully. Goodness, get it together.

Overall Review: Make sure you pair this with something that won't bottleneck it. I suspect that's a part of my problem.

It's... adequate

ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Works, and takes all the parts I have on it no problem.

Cons: The board likes to bend when I put peripherals into the rear USB and other ports. The CPU fan sometimes shakes the board a bit. Last of all, I'm not sure if there is something I'm doing wrong with it, but every time I boot up my machine, I have to do a hard shutdown and then restart it, then it works fine. I'm not sure if it's my GPU or something else, but It's annoying and probably destructive to my hardware.

Works fine

Seagate Desktop HDD ST1000DM003 1TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: The seek times are very low, the drive is very quite during operation, and it stays cool enough with proper ventilation. I'm very satisfied.

Cons: Can sound a little scratchy when spinning up, though my drive is a special case (which I don't care to list here).

A few degrees off

This definitely knocked a few degrees off my operating temperature compared to my 212 Evo.
