Pros: Comes partitioned C: (for Windows and software) and D: (for data - empty as shipped). This is the smart way to set up a computer as it allows data to be stored in a separate partition so that the Operating System can be replaced or upgraded, if needed, without risk to the data. It also provides a place to put an image backup of the C: drive because it cannot be stored in the partition being imaged. The optical drive is securely mounted with screws and the hard drive is mounted crosswise on rails. An extra set of rails is provided.

Cons: There are four hard drive bays, but only two sets of rails. There is a hidden partition to allow the C: drive to be formatted back to factory fresh, but this is lost if the hard drive fails. No restore disk is provided, or even an option to burn one. The computer does not bear a Windows License sticker with product key.

Overall Review: A good deal when purchased on sale.

Pros: I am using it on a scanner. It works exactly as described.

Cons: Would be worth 6 eggs if the software matched the printed instructions and it came with a short USB A-B cable.

Overall Review: The software (v.1.0.0) runs in the tray (down by the clock). The installer offers to create a (redundant) desktop ICON. R-click the icon to pop up a menu: Switch, Version, and Close. Switch is grayed out if you are already connected. L-click does nothing. It would be nice if it would just select the port if not already connected. Lighted buttons on the unit show which port is connected and allow the port to be manually selected.
