super so far!

EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: So far this is a great card, frame rate is amazing. Granted I don't play all the latest and greatest games, but it has done everything I have asked of so, and it hasn't complained once.

Cons: Not sure I'd call it a con, but these cards are HUGE. I'm not sure I saw dimensions anywhere, but the card itself is about 12"Lx4"Wx1.25"D so watch out if you have a smaller case. Also they get a little warm, but with nVidia's Precision prog. took manual control of the fan and all is well.

Overall Review: Best bang for the buck in my very humble opinion, bought a second one for my wife's computer.

nice little unit.

GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation
GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation

Pros: Worked great out of the box, for the occasional traveler, this was a great buy. Pretty quick to recalculate routes, speaks loudly and clearly, even if the voice often doesn't pronounce the street names properly, the kids think it's funny. And best of all I won't have to listen to my mother-in-law complain about me now knowing how to get around in a town I have never been to before!!

Cons: none yet, does what I hoped it would.

nice piece of hardware

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1955 USB 2.0 Hybrid TV Box with Hardware MPEG-2 Encoder (updated version of the 1950)
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1955 USB 2.0 Hybrid TV Box with Hardware MPEG-2 Encoder (updated version of the 1950)

Pros: Updated software as others had recommended, installed the media center software, scanned for channels, and within 15-20 minutes was watching and recording TV on my laptop. Runs very sweetly with an Intel i3 processor and Intel HD built in graphics, don't need a super video card. Windows 7 had no issues with the install. For the money, an outstanding alternative to buying a DVR, or renting one. Not to mention wife faction for now being able to put her ancient VHS tapes onto hard drive, then DVD.

Cons: Not much of a con, but as others stated the WinTV software is a little on the weak and buggy side, but I am using Media Center so it's all good really.

Overall Review: Hoping one day a wireless version will arrive, would be nice to walk around a little more with the laptop while watching TV.
