Pros: Heavy, feels very solid. Main board has connectors to add many more usb2 & 1 more usb3 sets. Lot of fan plugs 4 wire case included along with 3 wire ones. System runs cool almost at room temperature unless under heavy load. I have no cards installed using 2 4g sticks of ddr3 1600 and a black wd 1T sata 6 HD. Win experience numbers - AMD A8-3850 APU with Radeon(tm) HD 7.3, 8.00 GB Ram 7.3, Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6550D 4.8, Gaming graphics 4094 MB Total available graphics memory 6.2, Primary hard disk 5.9. Not sure the win experience is accurate because my other box was sata 2 with a 640M black HD and the win score is the same. I do not game but do some video stuff at times and the system seems very capable.

Cons: With the first bios when installing win7 x64, think it was F2 and just updated to F4, I had to use the usb 3 port for keyboard & mouse, tried both logitech & MS sets. Both are wireless. Not sure what the problems is/was but i tried a couple usb 2 ports untill giving up and trying the usb 3. System does not seems to want to sleep, might be a setting though but something i have not had to do on other boxes. Also the easy tune system monitor appears to have the cpu & MB temps backwards, something that can be fixed easily.

Overall Review: Over all I am happy with system and had no problems execpt the usb mentioned above which is good seeing this stuff has not been out very long.

Pros: Can not think of any at all. I am wondering why anyone who cares at all about what they they sell would list it.

Cons: Unit is about the size of a softball. Holds about 6 ounces of water. Powered with a usb plug that requires major force to insert & remove. After running 12 hours each day for 2 days it sound like the bearings went bad. As far as cleaning the water looked as clean as when I added it.

Overall Review: The humidifier part added maybe 1 ounce of water to the air after 12 hours. It has 3 blue led lights so it could be a noisy night light. I feel like I believed in x-ray glasses after buying this. The full list price should be 4.99 so you can expect what you get.

Pros: The wired section worked well and seemed to be fast enough for video streaming. I installed tomato on it through trial & error.

Cons: The unit crashed the 5ghz section running the stock firmware after a few hours. Also no ddwrt version for this hardware. After installing tomato i was running for a few days with no crashes but the wireless speed was really slow maybe for a average wireless G unit. I read several reviews on all routers and it seems the failure rate is about 50% and to top it off re-certified units appear to be quick tested to see if they turn on because this is my second re-certified asus product that works but most certainly does not operate at anything close to what it should do. I replaced it with another brand a new one this time that is working with acceptable speed so far.

Overall Review: Installing tomato i had to plug a cable into to the wan port to get to the recovery connection to install tomato. Also tomato has usb port options enabled by default and if you uncheck them you will not have a 5gig band on the wireless. Maybe that is the speed problem as other controls may not be what they are labeled as,so maybe i will play with it someday. Also my unit was a newer version than the original. Asus RT-N53 A1, Broadcom BCM5357 chip rev 2 pkg 8, CPU Freq 500MHz, Flash Size 8MB.

Overall Review: I have a few of these all from different sellers. The one i purchased here was fully working. Of the others one leaks and another had a intermitting charger. All the parts are interchangable so I am all set. The one i got here was the best deal too!

Pros: Came with a clone usb adapter and software. Had the drive copied and installed in under 30 minutes. A great out the box experience.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: It also came with a 3.5 bay adapter that was a very solid piece of metal could be a good heat sink if you need it.
