Great Case with many options

CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case with Carrying Handle and Windowed Side Panel - Black
CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case with Carrying Handle and Windowed Side Panel - Black

Pros: handle, fan options, filters on bottom, enough room on side to hide cables, convenient holes to route cables

Cons: there is a lower and upper HDD rack. the upper is only semi removable. you can only remove half of the bracket, this is ok if your goal is to add a larger graphics card, but not as much if you are removing the rack for better airflow. you can dremel it out, but then you lose the ability to add HDD's into the upper rack forever. since i dont plan on having more then 3 drives in my PC at any given time i will probably dremel it out once i buy a dremel. the case has a lot of fan options. i placed clear packing tape over the unsused side panel (inside of case). blue paint tape over the bottom unused panel as well as inside the front grill over the 2 external drive bays i am not using. i also used the tape to go over little holes on the back of the case. this should create better airflow. the front fans have a semi filter. there is a grill, but not a "filter". a removable filter would have been nice since most people use the front 2 fans as intake. these are small cons that can be fixed.

Overall Review: since its a mid tower case you cannot fit a h100i with fans inside the case. no matter how hard you try it will NOT happen. not a big deal. my fans are in the case (wanted to hide the ugly noctua nf-f12 fans that i used to replace the stock h100i fans), the RAD outside (on top) of the case. i used 3m to stick the grill onto the RAD to protect it. all is good. i replaced the 2 front fans with noctua nf-s12a , in case you are wondering you can NOT see the ugly brown through the grill. even with a flashlight you cannot see the color of the fans.

Great card

EVGA 02G-P4-2660-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA 02G-P4-2660-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Best bang for the buck. $140 after rebate, and it comes with Batman Arkham Origins which goes for for at least $20 on a popular online bidding site! 2 of them register as a 7.9 in WEI. I have NOT heard any coil whine, though i have only played an hour or so of BF3. they only take (1) 6 pin pcie connection. my older 460's took 2 each. i like the evga badge that comes with the card. the cards just worked after 1 reboot no new drivers, no no no. at least coming from the 460's. 2 of these are no louder then 2 460's. i like that these have a fan in the front of the card that blows air out of the case. the 460's just blew air around in the case

Cons: it is about 1.5 inches longer then my older 460's. but this card can still fit in a storm scout 2 without having to remove the extra hard drive rails.

Overall Review: I purchased 2 of these cards in a bundle with ram. i plan to sell my old 460's, the ram and the 2 copies of batman. this should mean i am paying around $150 for (2) 660's in SLI. i dont think there is any other way to get that power for that price!

looks beautiful

ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED
ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED

Pros: Looks great in silver. blue led matches antec 900, and fits in antec 900.

Cons: maybe a little large for some cases, may not clear larger ram sticks, depending on placement

Overall Review: fits in my antec 900, even with the side fan. there is like 1/2inch clearance.

awesome compared to holding phone

Panasonic 2.5mm Connector Single Ear Hands-Free Headset with Headband
Panasonic 2.5mm Connector Single Ear Hands-Free Headset with Headband

Pros: Light weight and comfortable, what more can you need. mic twist so it can be worn on left or right side of face.

Cons: like any cord, after a week or so it starts to twist itself, just unplug and straighten out. then your good to go.

Overall Review: i use it with a panasonic kx-dt343 and it works perfectly.

pretty good

Microsoft Explorer Mouse
Microsoft Explorer Mouse

Pros: almost as good as intellimouse 3.0. good weight in hand, thumb buttons, good price for OEM

Cons: one of the best mouses i have ever used: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105018 i have been searching for a wireless version for years, this comes close, but not the same. the thumb button placement is off, both buttons should be smaller and moved forward on the mouse. the chrome on the bottom will rub off on areas your fingers rest on a regular basis, though its not really noticeable. connection can get weak, jumpy sometimes.

Overall Review: pretty good for the price, but not if you are serious gamer or using it with design programs where precision is #1

great keyboard

Logitech K800 2.4GHz Wireless Slim Illuminated Keyboard - Black
Logitech K800 2.4GHz Wireless Slim Illuminated Keyboard - Black

Pros: 30+ day battery life, if you don't use the backlit, or maybe even longer. i have had this for a year, and i think i have connected it to the charger a hand full of times. i bought this because i like the flat keys with short strokes. if you like the deep press you wont like this.

Cons: battery life drops significantly with use of back light.

Overall Review: I use this at my work desk, so i dont use the back light feature, i did in the beginning to just test and play with it. as soon as i turned it off i noticed the battery life was great. with it on, i think it would last like 2 weeks. i never turn it off, just leave it on 24/7
