works for me
Pros: works for me, plug it in, some dittling with the bios, some surgury on my os and up she goes, I only have basic needs for a vdeo card, and don't have any games other then pychess and AisleRiot Solitaire I like that it doesn't have a fan, well execpt for the box fan I have setting front of my open box, since it so freaking hot in this room in the summer.
Cons: It a rant really, I wish the amd drivers were more supportive of linux, sspecificly fedora but for now the open source ones seem fine
so far working great
Pros: google voice, can add 3 more services with GV, works with existing phone, very customizable
Cons: no router, but it's cheaper then the 202, not really a con, this thing is not plug and play it takes a bit of reading and planning
mines been great
Pros: GV's been working fine, I saw a note from Obihai that google is extending the XMblahblahblah that makes the Obihai work over GV so that's a good thing. I also have VoIP.ms on my 202 and it works fine. I even added the e911 from VoIP.ms and everything seems to be working just great. I haven't tried a fax yet and from what I have read, it still is a 50/50 chnace it will work. It is a bit of a climb on the learning curve with both the Obihai and VoIP service providers but I think it's worth it.
Cons: takes some reading and searching on google to make sure you get all the "switches" set right
SSD best bang for the buck
Pros: did a big upgrade, cpu (8350), HD, memory, video card, over an older AMD Athlon 240 with 4 GB of memory Mostly there is not a huge difference in the performance, except for the SSD in the new configuration. I probably should have keep my old stuff going for a while longer and just got the SSD It really does make a difference in boot time, disk speed, programs loading, ect... I tried the system with a HD for comparison and had other boots on the HD too that were way slower then the stuff on the SSD I don't really know if it's just this particular SSD or not but this one does work well. main OS is fedora 20 also booted Crunch Bang! and Mint LMDE, worked fine. I don't have Windows or games so I can't say anything about them with the SSD.
Cons: had to wait for it go on sale
just plug it in
Pros: fedora 14 (Linux) plug it in, config the connection, zip zing zow you're up and going lsusb reports "Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8187" cheap way to add wireless to old hardware
Cons: it kinda sticks out a bit and has the antenna hanging out, but that's what it's supposed to do. If had a reception problem I've read where guys will stick these on the end of a wire and mount it like on the roof or something to pick up the local coffee shop. Guess I could make one of those pop can or toilet roll antennas and use that to make it directional? experiment at your own risk
Overall Review: I think you need to be using a very current version of Linux flavor to have to "plug and go" experience. I don't see that as a problem for 99% of us customers. All most any Linux distro you would want is free so try them out to see what works for you.
easy shaver
Pros: I hate shaving, but this shaver makes it so easy, convenient, and safe. Blades always left a cut and raw feeling. I like this shaver, I just pick it up any time I want and buzz it around a bit and it's done. It's the right shaver for me for sure. And cleaning it up is so easy.
Cons: it took a while for me to "find" the right shaver for me. Luckily I got this one off a shell shocker at a great deal.
