first impressions review

Pros: 2-slot design (not 2.7) QUIET! Cool
Cons: hoses are ribbed cooler requires space only one HDMI port expensive
Overall Review: Disclaimer: I'm in new territory with this upgrade compared to years (decades really by now) of building my own PCs). I have a water cooled CPU, but have never tried it with a GPU. I also am running this with a 3570k that I am still investigating my first potential bottlenecking of a CPU. that said: upgrading from a GTX 970 I have more than doubled my framerate in benchmarks and have tested Assassin's Creed Origins to run nearly at 60fps at 4K ultra settings where the 970 could run at 60fps at 1080p with some stuff modestly turned down. I hit the lottery with this CPU as it has run at 4.8Ghz flawlessly for 3 years now. So far it has been keeping up in benchmarks, but showing signs of topping out. I am still in the process of dialing in OCs with the 2080. Since this card has only one HDMI, as with most reference-built custom cards, I had to purchase an active adapter to retain 4K HDR with my TV, as I also have an Oculus Rift that also requires HDMI (or risk occasional black screens on the Rift if I use an adapter). At my initial OCs of around 2000Hz on this card (base 1860) the card still has temperatures of 50C. I appreciate this for card longevity and low, quiet fan speeds. This is important for my living room entertainment PC. I understand some rumors about possible wattage limiters on the 2080, so I will have to investigate that as well to see what I can really get out of this card. If I can't get it hotter and run higher, at least it's cool and fan speed low. I already have a 120x240 sized water cooled radiator for my CPU, so it took some Tetris to fit the Seahawk's radiator and fan in a fortunate extra vent on the side cover of my mid-tower case. I had some initial problems of the Seahawk's water hoses rubbing against the radiator fan blades, but a little persuasion to the hoses to bend them down kept them out of the way. I am satisfied with this as an upgrade from a 970, and think this card will last me years. It might not make sense if you have a 1070 or higher, unless you are worried about seeing what will become of raytracing and the new dynamic antialiasing.
Didn't work as expected

Pros: Cool design. Works as a vertical stand while charging, or flip it around to lay it horizontal without directly plugging into the stand. I looked and looked for a design that I liked both on [another major online shop] and Newegg, and this looked the most appealing.
Cons: Packaged cord and stand itself do not fully charge phone. I know when I use a cheap cable when the phone breaks even on charging while on, and will only actually charge when off. This includes the stand as I plugged in a nice cord to it and got the same thing. Built-in plug on stand is also not long enough for cases.
Overall Review: This is one of those times when the convenience and economy of buying online was a loss. The redeeming aspect of it is that it may keep my phone from completely dying during a day of listening to music at work, as long as I am willing to take my case off every day or lay it sideways and use a better cord.
It's a Seasonic

Pros: Compact size, durable case with nice finish and modest branding graphics, Seasonic reliability, more cables than you can shake a stick at, nice packaging
Cons: Pointless instruction manual, smaller fan size than previous models
Overall Review: My last power supply is a five year old 550w Seasonic G series and has run reliably and quietly since I first installed it. The only reason I'm upgrading to the Focus 750w is because I need more juice for a new RTX 2080. Otherwise I'd expect my old one to run indefinitely. I trust Seasonic because your PSU is one of the most important components to protect an overclocked pc from voltage changes and assure the longevity of much more expensive components. Maybe the only other brand would be Corsair, but over the years Seasonic has generally been the most reliable in hardware reviewer's tests, and also generally more affordable for mid ranged PSUs. It's kinda the Subaru of power supplies.
Works great so far.

Pros: So I was a little worried about some of the reviews saying that the drivers blue-screen windows. Noting that, I took caution to not install the drivers that came in the box. It worked fine out of the box with Windows 8.1's auto installed drivers. I then went onto Rosewill's site and installed their drivers, and they also work fine. NO blue screens. The CD inside says to go online to get Windows 8.1 drivers. I suspect people are not heeding this warning. I got this card because I will be moving to an area that I can only get wifi. I will still have yet to see how the performance of this card is and will update. Four stars now as a placeholder till then.
Cons: Does not have the MAC address listed anywhere. This is important to me since I filter my router to only use my personal devices. I had to disable MAC filtering on my router, connect the Rosewill device, then figure out what MAC address it is using. There's a way to find it in Windows, but I forgot.
Overall Review: This router was definitely the right price for performance, and I have generally had good luck with Rosewill products in the past.
Works. Good Price

Pros: Got this for my Surface. There weren't any reviews yet when I bought this, but I've generally have had good luck with Rosewill. It is not too bulky. Seems pretty solid. Works. Affordable.
Cons: It is possible some might find the cord a little short. Doesn't affect me.
Good balance in price and speed

Pros: This has been very stable memory for me over the last year and a half since I built my machine. I just am finally buying the second one as memory prices are dropping. I run it overclocked at 1800 without any issues. Play games and run GIS programs.
Cons: Can't see any, Maybe someone might have a problem that it doesn't look like a flame-red anime robot part for their custom build, which is really stupid if you need that, but this review is about the memory, not your aesthetic choices.
Speedy Delivery
My order of two 10.6" screen protectors for my Surface was made on a Wednesday, and on Saturday a cardboard envelope with my screen protectors in it was sitting on my porch. No complaints there, but it was a surprise to me as the tracking number given was bogus. That drops two eggs off the rating in lack of confidence, but they gain one back for the expeditious delivery.
Delivery faster than expected.
I was supposed to take 5-10 days to deliver, it took only three. Product was repackaged, and shipped in an envelope that could have allowed product to crush. I received it with no damage.
No delivery, but handled it.
It was over two weeks from ordering, and I never received my product in the mail. I emailed them about it, and their response was to give me a refund, if I ever do receive the product or not. It took about another week, but I did get my money back through Newegg and PayPal.
