GREAT Earphones for Price!!
Pros: Great sound and breathing. I don't feel pressure on my eardrums like some Canal earbuds do. Also, they have a great range of sound and good bass (not too strong). I realize this is a subjective comment, sorry. Reasonably comfortable for extended (2+ hrs.) as far as Canal earbuds go.
Cons: POSSIBLE Con: They have pinholes to allow pressure relief in the ear canal which I think is great, but it may not work well for runners or outdoor work.
Overall Review: I use these exclusively indoor, when I don't want to disturb my roommates. Sometimes I use them while rock climbing too, and they stay in my ears just fine.
Extremely Disappointing 2D
Pros: If you want this monitor strictly for 3D gaming it is quite awesome. This is the only 3D gaming monitor I've ever owned so I can't compare it to others. Tomb Raider (2013) in NVIDIA 3D was so incredibly immersive it was INSANE. It completely BLEW MY MIND. In that regard, it was well worth the money, even though the colors absolutely blow in 2D mode. The presents and OSD hardware controller are awesome too.
Cons: TERRIBLE color accuracy!! Also, quite often it will get stuck in LightBoost mode after quitting a game that you were playing in 3D mode. Sometimes the only way to get it to go back to normal is to restart your computer which is very annoying.
Overall Review: If you care about color and a sharp image even a little bit, you absolutely MUST get another monitor in addition to this. As many reviewers have said, DO NOT count on quality images from this monitor when watching movies, looking at pictures, or any such thing. The color and pixel sharpness is the absolute WORST I've ever seen in ANY monitor!!
Ouch! Price drop!
Pros: Great memory, very solid performance. I'm gamer and also run many high-end design programs such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, and Spice (Engineering programs) on my PC. It has run very fast with this memory, and I have no complaints.
Cons: I paid a lot more when I bought it (for $80). But that's life in technology, haha.
Overall Review: Great memory. If you need some solid and (now) cheap memory, get this before it gets discontinued.
Solid but Steep Learning Curve
Pros: I love this calculator and it's very versatile. The touch screen and stylus are nothing short of AWESOME. It has a very durable hard case. It has a great menu, and lots of really nice tools for scientists and engineers.
Cons: Very steep learning curve. It's not at all like TI calculators, but then neither are HPs. It will take a lot of time to learn all the functions. The syntax for some operations are a bit ambiguous and impossible to guess.
Overall Review: Overall a wonderful calculator, and honestly, the touch screen is so powerful and useful that I'm certain I would buy it again. At least until TI comes out with a nice touch screen themselves, and only because it's familiar. Casio still makes a really solid calculator, they just need a little work on user-friendliness.
AWESOME for price!
Pros: You can't beat $14. For that price, you just can't complain. They're a sturdy set of earbuds. The gels are pretty comfortable, but they take a little getting used to at first.
Cons: No complaints.
Overall Review: I use these for my laptop when noise is an issue and they've been great. They have a small hole in the back to keep pressure from building up in the ear canal, so I imagine it could be an issue for a jogger or someone using them outside. However, for indoor use, the sound is just great. May not be great for really extended use, but for an hour or two, they're not bad. On the other hand, I don't know of ANY earbuds that are comfortable for that amount of time. I'm very impressed to get such good quality from such a cheap pair of earbuds.
