Nice Processor

Pros: Good fast reliable processor. I always had been curious about Xeon overclocking, but since no boards supported it, that was just a dream. Now I have overclocked these Xeons I bought thans to EVGA's Classified SR-2 mobo. I wish Newegg had it, but others do now, and I am sure that Newegg will soon. With this combo, I have a very fast and reliable workstation.
Cons: Price
Overall Review: If I was more daring, I would overclock these more. Right now, I have them running at just below the 3 gigahertz mark, but that is a very low and safe setting. Since I really do not need them to be faster, I think I will leave well enough alone for now.
Early adopters face compatibility problems

Pros: Supposedly very fast and not that expensive.
Cons: They are having some compatibity problems with a motherboard that is supposed to support the Westmere series. Despite updating the bios, and trying seemingly everything else, all either Tyan customer service or I can think of is that it must be a compatibility issue. I tried to do a quick search of any motherboard company that makes boards that expressly support this secific processor, but I still have not found any yet. Rather than wait to eith find one that does, or wait untill further bios revisions solve the problems, I will likely just RMA these and get the E5630s. They supposedly have fewer compatibility issues.
The best mobo I have seen yet

Pros: This is a very fast and stable board. Everything about this board has made this computer build easy and fast. There are so many small things included with the board that make building the computer easier, I would not hesitate to get this again. There is an onboard display to show where in the POST process the board is, so if it fails to POST you will know exacly where to look. There are jumpers to disable each of the CPUs and each of the PCIe slots to test if components are faulty without actually having to phisically remove them. There are numerous other features that let you test heck out of this board. Also, before this, it would have not realistically been possible for me to overclock dual Xeon 5630s. Now, I have Dual overclocked 5630s running very smoothly. Everything about this board has been rock solid. This has been by far the easiest computer build I have had in a long time. Buying a Dual CPU system is expensive. I would not ever go with any other board after using this.
Cons: This board is big, and can only use 1 case that Newegg sells.
Overall Review: Another reviewer said that there were no cases that fit this sold by Newegg. This is not true. I have this board, and the Lian Li case from Newegg, and it fit just fine. I had to drill a couple holes, but that is it. Do not let the size scare you. This is by far the best board I have seen yet. I would not hesitate to get it again.

Pros: Fast. Also, the Cuda cores are more flexible at this point for things other than gaming. I like to game, but that does not pay. The work related applications it works with justify this expense.
Cons: It will take a while before available software fully takes advantage of this card and DirectX 11. Runs a little hot, but it is not bad, and I have not had any problems with reliability.
Overall Review: I need a Xeon workstation for other work related things. With this card, and EVGA's Classified SR-2 motherboard, I now have built a system that can run this card in 2 or 3 way SLI while overclocking both the cards and the Xeons. Granted overclocked Dual Xeon E5630s and overclocked GTX 470s in SLI are all a bit overkill, but it is still nice to have. These cards are fast and worth it. Cuda cores are just more worth it than the alternative right now for me.
Very Nice Monitor

Pros: Good Picture and very nice adjustable stand. This not only adjusts height very easily, but also can quickly be turned from landscape to portrait mode.
Cons: I have seen other reviews that question the quality. So far I have not seen anything that would lead me to think that this is anything but the highest quality. If the stand is made so well, I would think that they would not intentionally cheapen the inside components. I really do not see any cons so far.
Overall Review: At this point, I do not see how you can beat the price/performance for this right now. I would really like to see something like this with localized LED dimming or wall mountable, but I guess I will have to wait for a good quality monitor with these features.
I wish more were like this one

Pros: This is the ONLY non custom or Mountain Mod case that so far supports EVGA's Classified SR-2 motherboard (the mobo can actually overclock dual Xeons). The space is big, but well designed. Everything looks and works nice so far.
Cons: What point is it locking the door to the CD drive area, if the power and reset switches are on the outside top of the case. I am guessing that no one that designed this case has a 1 year old. Come on, this power button is so easy to find and push that my son found it and turned my system off after it being on the first time for only a few seconds. I hate to do this, but I am going to have to tape something over those buttons so he won't turn it off and on. The other con is that there is no clear side window on it.
Overall Review: This case would be perfect if they had locked the power button behind the door to the CD drives.
