Great speakers!

Pros: These speakers are big but not as big as they could have been, think 15" woofers. If you want bookshelf speakers, you'll want to look for something else because these are the big brother speakers that you can't hide away in a corner, easily. You'll want to crank up the volume with these and when you do the base is good. They're plenty enough by themselves for music but for movies and games I have a powered sub on stand-by. I highly recommend a pair of these for music, movies, and games.
Cons: The speakers are shipped with 3-4" thick styrofoam blocks top and bottom, yet somehow one of my speakers managed to have one of the stabilizer feet crushed in shipping. Didn't want to mess with a return so I ordered a kit with four replacements from PolkAudio for $8.
Overall Review: Supposedly these are just as good as newer versions. If you can get a pair of these you'll save yourself some money as opposed to buying the latest model. I'm not an audiophile but from what I can tell speakers really haven't changed that much in the last few decades.
Lasted 29 months of abuse

Pros: Let me reuse old parts to build a killer system (2 years ago). Setup/configuration was a breeze. Had it running with a quad core CPU, plenty of RAM, and 1.2TB of HDD on it. Used it as a gaming system at first but for the most part of the 29 months it was the household's Media Server, streaming video, music, and data to all other computers in the house. It also downloaded torrents and did other little tasks in the background. It never really complained.
Cons: Died a few weeks back. At first I thought it was the power supply as I already upgraded that once on that machine but it tested out fine on a different system. Process of elimination, verifying that all other parts work in other systems... it's the motherboard that died. The system will power up for a couple seconds and then it dies.
Overall Review: Was hoping to find a good deal on this part but was surprised to see that the price has actually gone of on this motherboard since 2.5 years ago... I guess that just proves that it's a good board. I may get another one but due to the fact that my first did die I can't give this 5 stars.
Very few coasters

Pros: While making back-ups of my movies in the last 12 months or so, I have had maybe two or three disks fail on me for no apparent reason but that is 2-3 discs out of about 500. I'd say that's a pretty good ratio and it might not even have been because of faulty disks. Sometimes I just have too much stuff going on at the same time. (User error)
Cons: None.
Never failed once

Pros: Bought one of these sticks about two years ago and have used it in two different systems without any problems at all. Recently bought a second stick to be able to play Battlefield 2 without choppy framerate at the beginning of each game. The two Kingston 512MB sticks did the trick, no need to get the recommended 2GB of RAM.
Cons: Nothing bad about this memory.
