Worth the money

Cyber Acoustics Platinum Series CA-3618 12 Watts RMS 2.1 High Performance Speaker System
Cyber Acoustics Platinum Series CA-3618 12 Watts RMS 2.1 High Performance Speaker System

Pros: They sound good for a $30 pair of speakers with a sub-woofer.

Cons: The cable between the left and right speaker is only about 3 feet long, if you need longer these aren't for you.

Rosewill - Black, Ultra High Gloss Finished Micro ATX Computer Case with 400W ATX 2.2 12V Power Supply - R363-M-BK
Rosewill - Black, Ultra High Gloss Finished Micro ATX Computer Case with 400W ATX 2.2 12V Power Supply - R363-M-BK

Pros: Inexpensive for an Micro ATX case with a 400w power supply. This case has a solid design and a folded aluminum interior (no cut fingers). I'd like to see some extra thumb screws, but overall the quantity of fasteners is adequate.

Cons: I purchased 3 of these cases. On two of them the power button literally came unglued before the machines even went into production. Nothing that a little glue couldn't fix, but when you look at the inside of the piece and notice how little glue was used to hold it on, no wonder. Would probably only add another $.05 to the price of the case to use a little bit more glue. Minus 2 eggs for making me wonder what other cost saving techniques were used in the assembly of this product.

Overall Review: The power supply only has 2 SATA, 2 Molex, and 1 FD power connectors. If you need more consider a different case.

Be very very careful.

Cons: See Bottom Line at the end of this review for a full description of what's going on.

Overall Review: I bought this printer back in March of 2016. Up until today it worked perfectly. But all of a sudden the printer tells me that I don't have the correct ink installed. Turns out the printer only accepts 950/951 z20 ink (for use in Europe and Russia). The only ink I can seem to find is z10 ink made for use in Canada and US. How was this printer sold in the US and how the heck was I able to mistakenly get European/Russian Ink for 2 years without knowing?

Great idea, bad implementation.

Logitech K800 2.4GHz Wireless Slim Illuminated Keyboard - Black
Logitech K800 2.4GHz Wireless Slim Illuminated Keyboard - Black

Pros: Wireless. I can't tell you how little I miss that keyboard wire. I really like the feel of this keyboard as well. I also have a Loigitech TK820 wireless keyboard and this k800 blows it away. The illumination I thought would be a cool feature, but since I use this keyboard at work it hasn't really been very usefull. If you game or surf in the dark this might be a great feature. Either way it doesn't take away from the functionality of the device.

Cons: I'm not sure if this is a problem with the keyboard or the unifying adapter but both my keyboards lag from time to time. The Internet seems to think it's a problem with 2.4GHz interference. Sometimes power cycling the device can make the lag disappear.

Overall Review: I give this device 3 stars. It has a wonderful design and feel, but the lagging almost has me looking away from Logitech Unifying.

Beware of ASRock/Newegg RMA policy.

ASRock X79 EXTREME4-M LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock X79 EXTREME4-M LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: ASRock makes GREAT boards. I've been buying them at work for almost two years now with no issues. VERY satisfied.

Cons: Just don't have an issue after 30 days. 1) ASRock has no phone support, you have to fill out a web form. Personally, I don't expect a response for days or weeks. 2) ASRock only offers a 1 year warranty to **authorized dealers**. Users are told to refer to their dealer's RMA policy. 3) My authorized dealer, Newegg, has only a 30 day RMA policy on motherboards. So basically if you're a PC tinkerer like myself and buy all your parts from Newegg, you're only going to get a 30 day warranty on ASRock boards. Also, the hassle I have dealt with so far just trying to talk to someone about this one bad board is far greater then the cost of buying a new board. Unfortunately it probably won't be ASRock. Maybe ASRock needs to start putting pressure on Newegg to change it's 30 policy?

Overall Review: Be aware of ASRock and Newegg's warranty/RMA policy before you purchase ASRock.

PC Power & Cooling Silencer MKIII Series 500 Watt 80+ Bronze Semi-Modular Active PFC Industrial Grade ATX PC Power Supply (PPCMK3S500)
PC Power & Cooling Silencer MKIII Series 500 Watt 80+ Bronze Semi-Modular Active PFC Industrial Grade ATX PC Power Supply (PPCMK3S500)

Pros: It worked while it worked. The modular design made for a cleaner install. No dangling power cables to stuff and hide.

Cons: Died after 2 months.

Overall Review: Not worth the RMA hassle for a $50 PS.
