great monitor

Pros: I really dislike HP products in general but they got really good designers in the monitor department. I have older HP LP2065, LP2465 and as I redesigned my workspace I got now one more - this ZR2440w. Monitor has all I need to be included into pro grade setup - 3 possible inputs so I can switch between my 2 desktops and notebook dock, USB hub, colors are perfectly tunable so after some minor work in colorspider it is now perfectly in sync with other monitors. I set it to 94 cdm brightness and 6500 temperature after calibration and it is as good as it can be for both text and photo/video work. ergonomics are awesome, stand is great, everything is convenient.
Cons: possible cons - they did not make a dedicated input switch button you have to cycle via list of inputs and then press other button to confirm. it is ok but differs from other older monitors. not a big deal.
Good but not perfect

Pros: Run fast single thread
Cons: Well, it was a mistake to get it as i ended up getting i7-3770k, for games i5 stone was fine, but as i had to run VMs and multithread processes i5 is nowhere near to i7 8 cores. Also i7 overclocked effortlessly to 4.3ghz.
Overall Review: It is a good cpu for a game rig, runs steady at 4.1 ghz, but challengng to get higher with no blue screens.
