Pros: Large screen. Very bright. Looks great.

Cons: No volume control for speakers on the monitor other than using the volume control panel on the computer. Web cam has no microphone.

Overall Review: I think this is a really good monitor but I think i should have bought a model without the speakers or web cam. Kind of pointless to integrate speakers or web cam without microphone or volume controls. The speakers are very very quiet. I read reviews of people saying the speakers are excellent but I find them incredibly quiet even at the the highest volume setting. The best way to explain it is imagine you have a head set connected to your PC. now leave the headset on the desktop about 2 feet away from you. That residual sound you can still hear from the headset is about the max volume these speakers are capable of. Some reviews made them out to be perfect. I find them very far from it. Speakers point away from the user, Im guessing to be directed at a wall where the sound and bounce back to the user but not all users have their computer up against the wall... The biggest improvement for sound quality would be if they redesigned the monitor to have the speakers face the user. My reasoning for buying this monitor with integrated speakers was to avoid desktop clutter for my PC build. Less wires on the desktop, more space, clean look. I think I will have to buy speakers anyway now. One last item, I have the monitor hooked up through VGA and the 3.5mm jack. I have not tried an HMDI cable to see if speaker power is enhanced. My guess is its not but its worth a try. Also There maybe some way to adjust the speakers on the monitor but I dont see anything related to the speakers.
