decent price for a decent 3200mhz ram
Pros: got it for a reasonable price, you pay less you'll get a 3000, pay more and get a 3600mhz.
Cons: but like all other t force vulcan ram, you cant really reduce the timings or overclock beyond its xmp frequency (3200 in this case). The chip is binned to the bones. If they can overclock it to 3600mhz of reduce its timing to cl15, they would sell it as a 3600mhz of cl15.
Overall Review: -it's an okay product for an acceptable price
more like 80 plus silver rating compare to 2019 80+ gold premium PSU, misleading name scheme by rosewill
Pros: -great price for a 850w power supply, good for a low budget high tdp build -fully modular, mediocre build quality and capacitors + railing rating -comes with all the necessary power cables
Cons: -outdated design and capacitors, more like 80+ silver rating compared to other modern 80+ gold PSU such as one of my cooler master V650, and nowhere near the quality of supernova g3 80+ gold 650w -some of the actual railing ratings are only on par with my 650w evga supernova g3 lol -plain cardboard box
Overall Review: only buy this when it's really on sale, but to be honest this power supply needs an overhaul in 2020, since it's quite outdated and inferior compare to other premium 80+ gold 850w+ power supplies. If you have the budget, dont cheap out on PSU and get something better please
pretty good TLC nvme ssd for the price
Pros: -good price to performance ratio for a nvme pcie3.0 ssd -one of the best entry nvme ssd as of 2019-2020 -good write endurance due to TLC -very compact and slim, able to squeeze into laptops
Cons: -uses system memory as cache instead of dram, yes this is how they keep the cost down -WD's hard drive mirroring software is literally unusable compare to crucial/micron's
Overall Review: -great entry nvme ssd if you can get it cheap
Great product...but DO NOT TRUST THE REBATE
Pros: - great build quality for its price - has rgb strips and everything you need for a mid-high end pc -parts are well-designed
Cons: -the rebate is a joke, they push you to a third party rebate dealer (rebate@axpertec.com) and the dealer will practically find non-sense excuses to reject the rebate. Forget about the rebate, just wait til the price hits the historical low then buy it (use ca.pcpartpicker.com for this case)
Overall Review: -I thought rebates are like loans you temporarily give to the companies to help their cash flow, but clearly I'm wrong as half of them are actually scams. Shame on you for this part Phanteks, don't expect me to buy anything above the historical low price again.
DO NOT BUY
Pros: cheap for a lga 1150 mobo, has usb 3.0 ports in the back.
Cons: First only 2 sata ports are up to 6.0Gbps. Second it has NO usb 3.0 19-pin connector for the front. Most importantly, terrible product quality and customer service. 6 months after i bought it, with there were some windows 8 automatic repair failures, it seems to boot up slowly and get into windows 8 much slower than before. Few days ago, it cannot power on after I bought a new hard drive, until i swapped everything from my dad's desktop and scale the problem down to the malfunctioning mobo. I emailed msi and they did not reply, seriously why.
Overall Review: still have to buy since I need another mobo to replace it. Terrible product and customer service.
as advertised, but could be better
Pros: acceptable price, fast shipping, good packaging, decent design
Cons: poor texture(plastic feels cheaply made), no USB3.0, too much ventilation hole to save manufacture cost. Like compare to the rosewill cases from other website, this thing has absolute NO ADVANTAGE in all category other than the bottom mounted PSU. So it's somewhat expensive for it's quality
Overall Review: the manufacturer should really improve this product: A. make a better one that has more attraction points, or B.lower the price by $10 to be competitive
