Pros: This is absolutely the BEST video card I have ever owned for an AGP-slot based solution. I honestly don't think you can get anything better with the same degree of widespread compatability for an AGP equipped motherboard. This card effectively renders 1920 x 1080 progressive video to my 52 inch DLP television, and it does so with complete beauty and grace. This is fitted in my home theatre pc (an older AMD Athlon 1.8 GHz equipped with 1 GB of PC-2700 / 30 GB solid state SATA / 300 watt PSU / gigabit ethernet and this BFG AGP card). Linux support is STRONG AND SOLID as it always is with Nvidia based products, and Fedora Core running OXine media center just plain HAMMERS!

Cons: absolutely none.

Overall Review: I'm a happy camper.

Pros: So I'm updating my review from the other day... After only a few days the included power supply has failed. That's very disturbing. Rather than waste my time returning the whole case (and ripping out the PC that I built inside it), and dealing with the hassle, I just purchased a new power supply from Newegg - made by FSP. I'm far more impressed with their power supply build quality and performance that this hunk of junk from Athena. The case, however (if you ignore the power supply) is a great case, and I still love it.

Pros: It's black (like "black black" not "greyish black") plenum rated cable. I cannot stand the multi-color bonanza that you see running through halls now-a-days. Blue, green, orange, purple... my house doesn't need to look like a circus. So I'm glad to get this.

Cons: It's plenum cable - Riser cable is much more flexible, but depending on the code requirements and your installation type, you may need to use plenum cable. So I don't really have any complaints, other than that I hate plenum cable in general and only use it when I have to.

Pros: I've owned everyting from 90 dollar Klein branded RJ-45 crimpers, to 35 dollar Ideal branded ones, all the way down to 4 dollar no-name brand ones. These are a good solid set of crimpers, no matter what you have used in the past. They're robustly built, durable, have a nice smooth action when compressing, and the die fully seats every contact pin nice and deep. I paid less than 50 dollars, and am very happy. If you use them all day - every day, then maybe you'll want something with a ratchet effect as well, but for the "couple-times-a-week" user, this is a great pair.

Pros: I am using this fan controller to control a CPU Heatsink Fan in a 1U HTPC/Server chassis. At full voltage, the fan is so loud that it is intolerable (about 6,500 RPM blower style). With this fan controller at 'low', the fan spins at about 3,200 RPM, and can't even be heard. At present, I am using it somewhere in the middle, and running the fan at about 4,500 RPM, which is audible, but not too loud to be disturbing to people watching a show on the HTPC. I am very happy with this purchase, and the small form factor of this speed controller. I realize it is a very simple "cheapo" type of device, but that's not important. It is working, and it is doing exactly what I wanted it to do. I couldn't be happier.

Cons: Cable is multi-color instead of "all-black" which would look nicer. This is only a minor complaint. I still love it.

Pros: Worked like a charm. Cleaned my AMD A10 APU and stripped the new 'gunk' off of an aftermarket heatsink to apply standard Arctic Silver, and it worked like magic. Just read the instructions on the bottles. Takes only a minute or two.

Cons: None.
