Pros: Incredibly accurate color straight out of the box. Surprised how much more accurate compared to my old NEC 90GX2 - makes me not miss the gloss finish at all. I could never get the 90GX2 to accurately match prints.. yet when viewing recent photos on this new HP ZR2440w - I instantly felt relieved in seeing an almost perfect match to my prints. The monitor has a nice handle-like grip on top, snaps easily onto the sturdy base, and everything was packaged securely while also being easy to unpack. A few weeks ago I unpacked a NEC EA243WM-BK and the HP slightly wins in packaging + physical design. I only used that NEC monitor for a few days at an office, being my initial thought for upgrading, but research led me to this HP and I'm glad for that. The HP wows me in color; I wasn't feeling that from the NEC EA243WM-BK. The HP might have slightly sharper text, too.

Overall Review: i have built at least 30 computers using Antec NSK 4482 and Antec NSK 4482B. i have also built many using NSK 4480 & II before them. they have been, by far, my favorite basic computer case ever. their tri-cool 120mm fan was awesomely quiet while the case was sturdy, simply elegant, and quiet enough for the majority of needs before heavy gaming and editing. Antec's latest New Solutions cases, this NSK3180 and NSK4100, sadly appear to be the end of my Antec joy.

Pros: usb-powered

Cons: sound quality is noticeably worse than Logitech S120 which are not usb-powered.

Overall Review: if you must have stereo sound in desktop speakers, i recommend spending more to enjoy it. for clients who simply need basic sound, i now buy the iHome iHM60 portable usb mono speaker. Logitech Z50 is also mono usb but i haven't tried it yet.

Overall Review: maybe i expected too much from this switch, but i don't see how anyone could accept the poor quality output this switch provides. perhaps it was just me, perhaps i happened to have a faulty unit, but after reading through more reviews i see there are many others who felt this switch was not good enough quality to use. maybe for gaming one might not notice as much, but as soon as i turned the pcs back on.. wow, blurry, not a chance i would use this. this is the first time reviews at newegg were far from my own experience, so i felt a need to speak up. 200+ 4/5 eggs at the time of my purchase, but i'm giving it 2/5. and i decided to buy another monitor rather than trying another switch, even thou some have tried and liked the trendnet.
