Pros: - I got it on sale for 169, at the time of purchase, this puts it at the same price as Ryzen 2600. But now 2600x is also at this price. So choose the CPU best suited for your usage. - Low TDP, I am using it in an HTPC in Silverstone ML08, CPU heatsink height is limited to 58mm and no water cooling support. So that excludes all CPU with 95W TDP. - So between Ryzen 2600, 8400 and 9400F. 8400 is at a ridiculous price of 199 at the time of purchase, Ryzen is better for multicore productivity, but I only do light work and occasionally game on this PC, so 9400F still wins out for me.

Overall Review: - Discrete GPU is required. But in the 15+ years that I have used PC, I have never once used the integrated GPU, so it is a no brainer for me. Just FYI. - Temperature is around 69-70C when gaming with a meager Cryorig C7 cooler. That is still a bit high for me to be comfortable. I am planning to swap it out to Big Shuriken 2 to see if it improves. Update 3/18: Changing to Big Shuriken 2 dropped the temp by a solid 10C to 60C when gaming! Ran Prime95 for 15 mins and the temp never went above 63C! I now believe that this is one of the best low profile CPU cooler. Ram clearance becomes an issue though, technically, G.skill Ripjaws V can fit, but it is a very tight fit and I am worried that the fins pressed against the RAM would warp in the long run. So go with Corsair vengeance LPX, or G.Skill Aegis to be safe. This is a review for the CPU, not for the CPU cooler.... I digress, but if you happen to be looking for this information, here it is.

Pros: - I think this is close to 20L so probably not a "real" SFX case like Dan a4 or Loque ghost - But it can accommodate 155mm tall CPU coolers, a feat that most SFX cases cannot do (except ncase M1) - The aluminum body is super lightweight, my similarly-sized NZXT H200 weighs almost twice as much. But edges are a little sharp (more in the cons) - The handle is nice for portability - can accommodate 3 slot GPUs, or leave nice breathing room for 2 slot GPUs - I have dogs, so Dan a4 or Loque Ghost are too exposed to the dust and fur, so I need a case that has dust filters. There are magnetic dust filters for Dan a4 or Loque ghost that you can stick to the outside, but honestly they look like hideous band-aids and ruin the minimalistic aesthetics

Cons: - some edges are not chamfered smoothly, especially around the handle. A bit sharp when running your finger alongside it. - shame on Lian Li for not including the bottom dust filter for a 110 dollar case. A magnetic dust filter cost like 2 bucks out of the factory? This is the reason I am taking off an egg

Overall Review: - I watched the reviews on youtube before placing the pre-order, so I know that bottom dust filter is not included. But I was kind of hoping that Lian Li would address this complaint and include one in the production model they ship. Well... that's not gonna happen. - But overall, I am happy with the case. Strikes a fine balance between volume, cooling capability, and portability.

Pros: This is a review for the ITX version of this motherboard. - It is cheap, I got it for just a little over 100 and there is a 20 rebate. - Asrock tells you the BIOS version on the board, there is a little sticker just below the CPU socket. Mine come with BIOS version 3.10, so my 9400F CPU can boot right out of the box, no need for guesswork about the BIOS version and wondering if an 8th gen CPU is needed to upgrade the BIOS. I like this little sticker, other MB manufacturers should do this too.

Cons: - This has to be the cheapest IO shield I have ever seen. Just a plain bare piece of metal. In Asrock's defense, this is a cheap Z370 MB and they need to cut cost somewhere, I don't mind it too much, but just FYI. - Mine looks a bit dusty out of the box, especially on the black headers, the fine dust is very visible. Been sitting in the warehouse too long?

Overall Review: I am just nitpicking with the cons, they are minor gripes and not worth taking an egg off. I am still very happy about it.

Pros: - Fanless mode, this has now become a must for me when choosing PSU. I put my PC case right next to me on the desk, so when I am not gaming and doing light office work or browsing, I can't stand 5+ fans spinning in my PC. - Price is amazing, unbeatable for 850W gold. - I am now using a focus plus 550W platinum for my main PC, I am very happy with it and the previous ones I use. Reliability has always been top notch.

Cons: - None

Overall Review: - This review is for the Seasonic rebate program. - While my 550W platinum works perfectly fine. I am planning to upgrade to a 2080/2080 ti, which is more power hungry. And also upgrading to a USB-C monitor will require close to 100W output on the USB-C port on the motherboard. So this 850W model will fit my future needs.

Pros: - It looks beautiful, I am putting it on my office desk and getting a lot of compliments. - The non-i version at 80 dollars is very well priced. - The little stud included to support the GPU is nice, avoids GPU sag. - GPU temperature is fine, despite being so close to the PSU shroud. Cons: - Panels are a bit on the thin side. I came from fractal design cases with thicker panels and sound-dampening materials built-in. So this may be a subjective thing. - If you want to give GPU more breathing room and use a SFX PSU, pay attention to the cable length. I use corsair SF600, and the 24 pin MOBO cable and 8 pin CPU cable are too short. I had to order a cable extention kit.

Overall Review: My build: CPU: i5-8600K CPU cooler: Deepcool Gammaxx 400 RGB MOBO: MSI Z370i GPU: EVGA GTX1080 PSU: Corsair SF600 + Silverstone cable extension kit I did not add additional fans for cooling, despite mine being an air-cooled build. All I did was to remove the back exhaust fan and put it in the lower front to blow air into the GPU. I did not change the top exhaust fan mainly because it holds the dust filter in place. I set both fans at 50% speed (around 850 rpm) and the temperature seems fine. Temps while gaming: CPU 60-64C, GPU 66-68C I might add some sound dampening foams from Silverstone in the future, but other than that I think this case is perfect.

Pros: -I am using it in a Silverstone ML08 mini ITX case, the space restriction and limited airflow means reference style cooler works best. -The fan of the first unit I got is making a screeching noise, but the replacement procedure of Newegg was rather painless, I got the replacement without a hiccup and it has been working fine ever since.

Cons: -This is not really a con, but something you should know: The turbo fan is always on, spinning slowly at idle, unlike the ACX fans on other EVGA cards that do not turn on until the GPU is over 60C.
