Pros: Great board, lots of features, good utilities.

Cons: There was a known problem with BIOS version F8 where the motherboard would get stuck in a boot loop. As recommended, I upgraded the BIOS to version F9 and that problem was fixed. However, the other problem that has not gone away is the inability for the motherboard to completely shut down. After a few seconds of being powered off, the motherboard restarts. Numerous Windows installs and Linux installs, as well as trying several different cases, disconnecting peripherals, and turning off all BIOS wake events yield the same results. I can confirm there are no electrical shorts on my end that would cause it to restart. Sad. I've already started the RMA process and will no longer go with GIGABYTE mobos. This model in particular has had way too many issues.

Pros: Looks pretty.

Cons: I purchased the board in March 2012. Had to RMA because of the boot loop issue. Everything was working fine for over a year, now I can't even get the board to POST. If it does eventually POST, it goes into a boot loop. 1 out of maybe every 25 reboots, I will actually get into Windows. I've tried unplugging everything, re-seating everything, even all components on another motherboard. The BIOS is up to date. This is definitely a motherboard issue. What gives GIGABYTE? Awful. Do not buy.
