SteelSeries Sensei RAW Heat Orange 62163 Black 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5670 dpi Gaming Mouse
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Works well until it doesn't work well. Mouse software is pretty easy to use and has the option for creating/saving profiles specific for each game you play.

Cons: I don't recommend SteelSeries Sensei Raw to anyone unless they plan on buying them frequently. I bought this since it had good feedback from the gaming community a couple years ago but they just aren't built to last. I have own 2 of these mice now and both randomly turn on/off after less then a year of using them. 2 of the same mice in less then 2 years, that tells you something isn't right. Nothing is worse then playing a competitive team game and your mouse all of a sudden stops working multiple times during a match, for 30 seconds each time, before it turns back on and half the buttons stop working until you restart your computer.

Other Thoughts: Performed well while it lasted but I have a 10 year old wireless Logitech that I would use before every buying SteelSeries again.

Rosewill RFT-120 - 120mm Fan Filter

5 out of 5 eggs Great filter but is not meant for all applications 07/08/2012

This review is from: Rosewill RFT-120 - 120mm Fan Filter

Pros: It's a 120mm fan filter and gets the job done! Catches dust going in or out. $8 is pretty inexpensive and is worth a try, gas just to drive and get it costs more. Two piece plastic design with a thin piece of filter material that catches the majority of dust. The piece that screws onto the fan has a recession for the screws, so the filter/cover piece snap perfectly into place. Cleaning is a snap, just unsnap the filter/cover piece, rinse & dry (dry completely), then reattach. If you have major build up, use small vacuum attachment to get most of the dust first and then remove filter/cover piece before rinse & dry.

I highly recommend this for use with Antec H2o Kuhler. My config was set up as push/pull (fan filter installed only on the fan pushing into the radiator), with exhaust going out the rear on both my Antec DF-85 & 1100 cases. This keeps the radiator cleaner and running with optimum cooling. It also helps keep the rear fan from blowing dust out the case, which can be a mess.

Cons: Where's the beef?

Other Thoughts: These are not really cons but more application observations. Only use fan type screws, otherwise filter/cover piece may not be able to snap on. The cover piece snaps on at 4 sides, it can not be used with case fan mounting points that hold fans in place with clips the fan snaps into (unless you mod & cut out a notch where the case fan clips are positioned, I may try it). This cover can not be used for front intake fans behind the mesh cover (tried on Antec 900), there just is not enough clearance space on sides or for depth due to fan filter/cover piece. You may run into clearance issue for internal use on rear (top, if your case has 2 rear exhaust fans) exhaust fan or issue with rear exhaust if is to close to the side panel (s/p can't close). I need to try the filter on the s/p fan to see if the s/p screws that go through rubber grommet will reach and sit flush to snap on the filter/cover piece. I hope it works, this will keep the side panel fans from blowing more dust into the case.

Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded USB 3.0

5 out of 5 eggs Best Mid Size Tower available, Hands down 08/09/2011

This review is from: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded USB 3.0

Pros: Where to begin, I have owned this case for nearly 3 years and still love it like it was the first day I got it! Extremely functional case. The air flow is outstanding and keeps my 3 WD internal HDD'S/8800GTS gpu running cool for 3 years, 24/7, with all fans on max setting. Each case fan comes with its own speed control (3 settings) and are quiet when cleaned periodically. The blue LED's are soft, look nice and aren't a distraction in the dark for movies. Convenient front top panel power/ports that are great for ppl that use headset while gaming but speakers for everything else, not to mention USB on top for plugging in your camera for quick transfer to HDD. Wiring is very easy, plenty of space. Easy to add new HDD's (no tools required), finger screws a real A+. Bonus to me is the tray space on top, holds CD case, USB flash drive, Digital Camera, spare batteries for wireless mouse, Headset. This case is outstanding for just about any type of user, be it a novice or pro. Quality buy!

Cons: There really aren't any that I have found, just other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I didn't want to call these con's but they are things to improve on for newer models more or less. Every case with built in fans should have standard removable washable filters, cause cleaning them by hand is ridiculous for something so simple as a filter. My new Antec DF-85 full tower has this feature. The blue LED on top panel that shows HDD activity is not like the other soft LED's in the case and can distract from time to time if you have good peripheral vision.
