Great Keyboard

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse - L5V-00001, Black
Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse - L5V-00001, Black

Pros: Best looking ergo keyboard I've ever seen/owned. Keys are soft to the touch and very responsive. Mouse is very easy to use. Magnetic latches are amazing. Detatchable number pad

Cons: Not really a con for me right now but in the idea of having to shop for 3 different types of batteries is annoying. Hopefully the battery life is as long as they estimate.

Overall Review: I have used the microsoft 4000 ergo keyboard for several years now so going from that keyboard to this one isn't much of a difference. Having the shallower keys makes it feel like I'm typing faster but it could be all in my head. I tried out the microsoft ergo 7000 mouse a few years ago and after 2 weeks of use I could not get used to it. Not sure if this mouse is designed a differently in terms of shape or height but this one fits much better in my hand than the 7000. Lastly, not necessarily a con which is why I'm listing it here but coming from the ergo 4000 to this keyboard, the only adjustment I'm still trying to get used to is the home, end, insert, delete, page up, and page down locations. They are the only keys I still have to glance down at due to them not being in their previous location. All in all, I like this keyboard so much I may even get one for my home office. I'm using the 4000 there as well.

New Beats by Dre

Beats Studio 2.0 Over-Ear Headphone - Black
Beats Studio 2.0 Over-Ear Headphone - Black

Pros: Noise Cancelling Comfortable to wear for multiple hours Rechargeable/Battery Life They look very stylish Hard Carrying case Multiple cables

Cons: Low End is non existent. Price

Overall Review: When I say the low end is non existent, don't get me wrong, these things pop, but when it comes to bass clarity or feeling the bass, it's just not there. You can hear the low end, you just can't feel it. Maybe that's on purpose? I'm not saying I want loud or muddy bass which was prevalent on the older versions of beats, any low range would have been nice. I listen to various genres and a cappella seems to suffer the most, the bass part just isn't there. I have a fiio e5 amp and that seems to help with the low end, but using that seems to sacrifice the clarity on the high/mids which these headphones do well on. It's very hard to explain without hearing it. I got these on sale so there was bit of relief on the cost, but I'm still not sure they are worth what I paid. I probably could have used the same money on a high end set of another brand. I use them every day at work and with the noise cancelling I don't hear anything around me and the sound does not leak. Overall they are decent headphones. They are a vast improvement over the older version of beats, which I do not own only listened to friends, but I think they went a little too far in terms of cleaning up the low end because to me, it's just not there.

Logitech Recertified 981-000257 G930 Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound
Logitech Recertified 981-000257 G930 Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound

Pros: Great Deal!

Cons: Had to RMA the first one

Overall Review: I already reviewed this headset but figured I'd post another review to let people know that I had to RMA the headset. The replacement battery I bought from Logitech (brand new) exhibited the same behavior as the battery I replaced so the battery was not the problem. It would only stay on for 2-3 minutes after having it plugged in for hours at a time. That got me thinking that it must be that the battery isn't getting a charge so it had to be the charge port. To support that further, when plugged in, I could use the headset for a few minutes, but eventually it would turn on and off repeatedly due to the battery being dead. My replacement came and it was pretty much brand new at least in looks. The charge port on the headset looked like it had never been used (where as my previous one was pretty beat up). I plugged it in and after about 8 hrs I used it for the first time. It died after about 9 hrs of continuous use listening to music while I worked. I've had the replacement for about 2 weeks now and it's been great. If I had to recommend this to a friend or someone here, I would recommend you spend the $30 or so dollars more, depending on the sale price and get a brand new one. You could luck out and get a headset like my second one the first time or you could get a bad one like my first one. After buying the new battery, installing/uninstalling the battery, waiting about a week and a half for the replacement, I'm wishing I would have bought it new and not have had to go through the hassel. Granted my second one is perfect and has no issues, the money I saved isn't worth the time I spent to get a perfect headset.

CORSAIR CX-M series CX600M 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Modular Power Supply
CORSAIR CX-M series CX600M 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Modular Power Supply

Pros: Price, number of connectors, 600w

Cons: If I had to complain about something it would be the length of the sata power cables. The configuration of my case (mid tower) made it so I had to use both sata power cables to power my two hard drives instead of just one. Each cable barely reached the hard drive with the last plug let alone running them in series.

Overall Review: Replaced a dying psu in a dell precision.

Changhong 50" 1080p LED HDTV - LED50YC2000UA
Changhong 50" 1080p LED HDTV - LED50YC2000UA

Pros: Price Picture

Cons: None that I can think of

Overall Review: When I bought this tv there were 30 reviews and most of them were positive so I figured I'd give it a chance. I bought it as a cheap solution to replace an old 32 inch lcd 720 tv i had in my rv. The picture is amazing. I'm still in awe with how good the picture quality is. The only problem this set has is the 60 hz refresh rate. I was going to grab at least one more of these but they raised the price $100 (80 if you note that shipping is now free when it cost $20 before). If you're in the market for a 50" led, you cant' find a better one for the money. At it's current price though, you might be able to find a better set for a bit more money.
