Power can be beautiful. That’s the premise behind the Aurora2 from Raidmax. This 600W PSU is wrapped in a 2-tone satin case with brushed aluminum accents. But the beauty has a purpose. The decorative Hexflo panels on the sides guarantee maximum airflow from the 120mm smart fan with blue LEDs mounted in the sculpted bottom panel. The fan automatically adjusts its speed depending on the temperature of the PSU’s components.

The Aurora2 delivers the power you need for today’s high performance systems. This all gets pushed through six SATA, four molex, two floppy and two PCIe connectors plus the standard 20+4 main and 4-pin SPU connectors.

  • newegg ATX12V and EPS12V Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, the Raidmax RX-600F power supply provides maximum stable power to drive the latest Intel and AMD processors as well as other components for desktop and even sever computer systems.
  • newegg 600W Maximum Power A maximum power of 600W delivers safe, reliable output for high-end PC systems.
  • newegg Highly Efficient Delivering up to 80% efficiency, the Raidmax RX-600F power supply saves energy and may even reduce your electric bill!
  • newegg Smart Fan The 120mm blue LED smart fan automatically adjusts between three fan speed levels according to the PSU temperature for efficient cooling and minimized fan noise.

reliability 10/19/2014 12:15:36 AM

Pros: purchased 12/16/2008 never had a hic-up or problem .
has powered 3 different motherboards occupied by 5 differnt CPU's and 4 different Graphics cards over its lifetime

Cons: paired with a FX-8320 and a Radeon R9 280X it just cant keep up and thermal \over voltage shuts off but again its 6 years old :-)

Overall Review: after almost 6 years of heavy use , daily use and systems raging from old single core AMD venice 4000+ and radeon 800's to quad core black editions and GTX 9800+'s in SLI to the 8 core FX and radeon HD7870 this has most definately givein me the best bang for your (new price in 2008 ) 65$ over any other piece of hardware i have ever owned since 1997.
i give this little PS kudos in high fives in that reliablity \ value market
especialy for a off brand that was just a "cheep" case MFG then

Great Power supply 8/10/2014 11:52:16 AM

Pros: *reliable, especially for the price.
*Led is nice feature

Cons: It feels like its cheap by its weight, materials and just how it was assembled.

Overall Review: This has got to be one of the best power supplies i had bought on an old gaming rig years back and it still works perfectly. The power supply even outlasted the technology curve and the computer has since been retired of gaming and is used as a spare web browsing pc for my dad.

Pros: Quiet, lightweight and so far, dependable.

Cons: Could use more SATA power leads, but you can always get a splitter.

Overall Review: Can't imagine anyone not liking this, unless they got a lemon. It can happen I suppose, but mine's been fine!

Quality Power Supply HORRIBLE REBATE SERVICE 7/30/2009 11:11:41 PM

Pros: The power supply is fine. Not ultra quiet, but stable, and for those who like it, the blue light is cool I guess.

Cons: The rebate was the reason this item was purchased. The rebate company, rebatecenterinc.com has not once responded to any of my multiple E-mails sent to them, this is what I received from them.

YOUR REBATE STATUS : DISQUALIFY
DISQUALIFY BECAUSE: NO INVOICE BUT SALES ORDER

I sent them an invoice printed out from newegg's site. The lack of proper English makes me wonder where this company is located, I guarantee it's not in the US.

Overall Review: The product I'd give 4 or 5 eggs if it wasn't associated with this horrible non-existent rebate company.
