RaspberryPi Compute Module 3 Lite
Containing essentials of a Raspberry Pi 3 (the BCM2837 processor and 1GB RAM), the compute module 3 Lite is a revision of the original Compute Module without its 4GB of on-module eMMC flash. It comes with a more flexible from factor designed for industrial application.
Small Size
The Compute Module 3 Lite features a size of 67.6mm x 31mm with a standard DDR2 SODIMM connector (the same type of connector as used for laptop memory).
Big Performance
The Compute Module 3 Lite is equipped with BCM2837 quad-core processor that runs at 1.2GHz, delivering roughly ten times the speed of Raspberry Pi 1.
Designed to Be Flexible
The processor interfaces are available to the user via the connector pins. All the tricky bits are put onto the module itself. When used with a development kit such as Compute Module IO Board V3 (sold separately), it offers many more GPIOs and interfaces than Raspberry Pi board. Therefore, designing the module into a custom system will become more straightforward.
