How or where is the alt button?

Mac keyboards never have an "Alt" button, nor a "Windows" key, nor an "Insert" key.  In the location usually occupied by "Alt" there is "Command", in usual the location of "Windows" there is "Option", and in place of "Ins" there is the "Fn" function key.
