How long is the cord?

I measured from the tip of the jack to the point were the two chords part for each ear and that was 37 inches and in total it is 54. Hope that helps.

will it work with a pc sound card?

The mic will not work through a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. You need an audio splitter (1F->2M) to do that.
