WD discontinued WD6001FFWX and replaced it with WD6002FFWX since mid 2016. Technically speaking they are identical with slightly better performance and slightly lower power consumption. Ask yourself is it on sale? If so, you're probably getting a liquidation price on the latter version. That said, the improvements are negligeable. You can check the web for the technical specs, and validate for yourself. In practice, they are identical. Your device won't be able to make out any difference with either HDDs. You can mix and match them and its all the same.
