Answer: Press the "Menu" button once to select main channel 1-22. Press "Menu" twice to select CTCSS sub-channel 1-121. Multiple code combinations are available to minimize interference, eliminate co-channel crosstalk, and block unfamiliar signals.
- QA: How to communicate with other walkie talkies?
Answer: First setting a same Channel: 1. With the radio on, press MENU, the current channel flashes; 2. Press up or down button to set the same channel; 3. Press PTT to confirm and save the channel setting. Then setting a same CTCSS/DCS: 1. Press MENU twice, then the code starts to flash; 2. Press UP or DOWN to select the code 0-121 or 121-0; 3. Press PTT to save the code setting. Note: You must set the CTCSS/DCS code to 0 if you want to communicate with another radio which didn’t set up the CTCSS/DCS Code. 0-121 CTCSS/DCS help minimize interference by providing you a choice of code combinations.

Answer: RT628 kids walkie talkies can talk to each other, you just make sure they are the same channel with the same CTCSS. One push the button to talk. The other listens and then can push to talk and respond. Two people cannot be talking at the same time.

Answer: PTT Beep: When device is off. Power button+ volume up button hold until unit powers up;Menu Beeps: When device is off. Power button + volume down button hold until unit powers up.
