Does this enclosure support Acronis software to clone the existing drive to a larger one?

Sure does. I used it for that exact purpose. Worked perfectly. Make sure you use the Acronis Boot disk and that your USB is set up for UEFI boot. Should be fine. Also used it with EZGIG and that worked great also. This enclosure is EXCELLENT.
