Made from our own custom fabric, the Rogue Super Soft Silver photographic reflector produces a softer, more pleasing fill light, especially when used to reflect bright light sources. Our Super Soft Silver diffuses light better than shiny silver reflectors; this helps you to avoid the hot spots and harsh light commonly produced by the mirror-like surfaces of shiny silver reflectors.

Natural White - custom manufactured fabric
The Rogue 2-in-1 photographic reflector uses our Natural White on the reflector's white side. Our Natural White fabric is remarkably color neutral, providing photographers with a more natural and pleasing reflected fill light. Our Natural White fabric is manufactured without the use of optical brighteners, chemical compounds that are added to fabrics in order to increase their apparent 'whiteness'. We avoided the use of these chemicals because they fluoresce blue light to make a fabric appear brighter, an effect that can also produce an unwanted bluish tint in your images.

Our Rogue Super Soft Silver photographic reflectors are more durable than typical off-the-shelf silver reflectors. We apply a thick coating of Super Soft Silver to a heavy duty canvas fabric, then secure the fabric to a spring steel frame with a heavier grade spandex. The reflector's storage bag is also made from canvas fabric to ensure it holds up in the field.

Use a photographic reflector with studio lights to create 'clam shell lighting'. This lighting technique uses the reflector underneath a strobe to fill shadows under the eyes and chin with a soft, diffuse light.

Lighten the shadows in your portraits by using a reflector holder to position your reflector at an angle that bounces/reflects the light from your flashes to lighten and soften the shadows on your subject.
