hi i'm looking for a good bluetooth speaker with good sound. would you recommend this and why? or you recommend another one?

Yes I do recommend for the price and good sound. I have brought 5 of them and they all perform well. If you want better sound, try the Jawbone Jambox it is higher price but you can't beat the sound. they sell a mini and a full size. The mini cost between $100.00 to $150.00 and the full size can cost between $250.00 to $275.00 new. You can buy them on ebay or Amazon.

I also have a Bose SoundLink which is bluetooth but no Built-In Mic inside. It is the top of the line!

what is the wattage of the speaker?

15 wattage for all 3 speakers, so that is 5 watts a speaker times 3.

interested in volume control &word clarity. plan to use to listen to talk radio late at night, so speaker will be right next to bed with volume turned low, only high enough to distinguish words, good for that?
