Question 1

It says that the top fans are optional and not pre-installed, as well as the the other fan being optional if your only using 1 psu. my question is do these optional fans come with the case like the preinstalled ones, or is it my option to buy extra?

I think you have to purchase them separately. Ours came with 3fans in the front of the unit and one in the rear. The case is vented at the top and the bottom so convection can bring cool air from below and passively move air through the top.

One note and a bit off topic, our power switch (actual switch) became disengaged from the power button when the glue holding them together failed. Very annoying but not fatal.

Question 2

What type of power connection do the pre-installed fans have? Do I need to connect all of them to my motherboard or my PSU?

They're not molex fans, they're the regular 3-pin fan connector; however, the case comes with an integrated fan splitter behind the mobo tray with enough capacity for all included fans.

It's a great case, it looks clean, and really easy to manage/hide all of your cables. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine... you just can't beat it.

Can the lights be turned off?

The led lights are built into the fans. The low/hi fan switch on top of the case will affect the brightness. Also, turning off the fans will turn off the lights. Replacing the fans with non-led fans is an option - the fan controller uses standard 3pin fan headers so you can use any 120mm fans you like with it. Rear fan is not lit.

is any monitor compatible with this?

The monitor you select ( or have) is not really dependent on the case style. If the motherboard you choose to put in the case has on-board graphics, check to see that the video connector is compatible between the motherboard and the monitor. If you add a graphics card, be sure the video connector is compatible between the graphics card and the monitor.

It is also worth noting that there could be a low cost video adapter available to allow two different types of video connectors to work together.

Is the window tint removable? Like could I take a razor and peel it off, or is the whole window just that amber color?

That's just the color of the glass, but it really doesn't appear as dark as that once everything's inside. I have a blue fan with my liquid cooling system on the CPU and the LEDs are the same color as the ones in the pictures on the front of the tower. The color doesn't have any noticeable change in hue behind the glass as far as I can tell, though it does make it slightly darker.

In the specifications for this case it says to make sure your motherboard has a USB 3.0 connector. Why is that? Is it somehow needed, or would this case work but just without the USB 3.0 front ports usable?

The usb 3.0 ports don't affect the operation of the case. It will still be a full tower case. If your motherboard doesn't support usb 3.0, the 3.0 ports won't work.

Does this come with a case speaker?

No it does not.  I also had a problem with the fan controller.   The fan control does not have enough power to run the fans bit comes preinstalled with. 
Would not recommend.

Question 8

How is air flow in this case? It looks like the front fans have some metal wall behind them or maybe some hdd cage does this resrict air flow?

Hello! I bought this case over two years ago, and have never had an airflow problem. There is actually a drive cage behind the bottom fan (this case is pretty tall), but you can actually remove that drive and install it on the top disc drive (comes with an adapter to mount an ssd or hdd  to it) Airflow is pretty great! It's not completely dust proof, though has filters on the top, front, and one on the bottom under the power supply. If you remove the drive cage, then there is absolutely nothing impeding air from the front fans to the components. Very clean that way.

Keep in mind, if you remove the HDD cage, then you will have only two slots for HDDs, 1 if you have an optical drive. It comes with a panel you can screw on to the side face, and mount drives vertically.

How thick is the metal on this case? Is it flimsy and feel cheap?

I'm not sure what the exact thickness is but I can tell you it's sturdy and does not feel cheap. I used this tower for my first ever build and have been very pleased.
