What dimensions should my slot-loading ODD be? And how am I to eject a disk, does driver software allow me to do this?

a 12.7mm "slim" slot loading drive like the Panasonic UJ-265 will fit well. most operating systems have an "eject disk" function. in windows, right click the drive letter in explorer and select "eject."

you do dometimes have to grab it when it pops out, or it gets sucked in again.

Can I use CORSAIR Hydro Series H90 or Cooler Master Nepton 140XL on top 140mm fan?

Hi I have this case and it runs extremely cool. I ended up just replacing/upgrading the fans it came with. This case is not very conducive for utilizing a water cooling system. I would recommend this case based on aesthetics over performance. If you want performance I would look at another case.

Question 3

Once an optical disk drive is installed in this MX2 case, how do you eject the disk?  I don't see any way to press the eject button on the drive once it is installed.

you have to use a slot loading drive which is ejected by the operating system. it works fine.

Its says it has 2 250mm fans under cooling system. Does it have them? Where do they go?

Question 5

I'm curious about the power supply placement? It appears to be in the front bottom.

Yes it is in the front bottom, and I actually like it alot. one MAJOR problem, if you have a FULL modular powersupply or if it is to long to fit in the cage you will not be able to get your powersupply in. I bought an xfx full modular power supply and the only way to get it in was to drill out the 6 rivets keeping the cage on the bracket and then cut out a whole in the bottom of the HD cage and have the psu wires go thru the whole.. so make sure you check your measuerments before you buy a PSU..

(NO IDEA WHY THEY WOULD RIVET A HARD DRIVE CASE INSTEAD OF USIN SCREWS, considering most people take them out not a days. POOR design. I wish i was working for rosewill.)

Question 6

Does the hard drive cage support SSDs? Or will the SSD need to be in a sled/cage (which would not be included) to fit into the hard drive cage of the Legacy? Or is there simply a location for an SSD away from the hard drive cage?

The SSD fits onthe back side of the motherboard backing.. It slides in a slot and screwed down, which is alot better then putting in the cage. If you want to put it in the cage you will need an to put the SSD in a 3.5mm adapter..

Question 7

Just want to be sure that the following components will fit into the case?

-CPU with Corsair H100i cooler

This case DOES NOT support water cooling at all. I bought the h100i thinking i could put it in the bottom.. It doesnt not come close to fitting...so i thought i will put an H90 in where the 140mm fan is on top...NOPE..I had to do major modifications to this case including drilling 4 holes into the top of the case to modify it to be able to use the h90.. This case will only support fan cooling

What's the situation with the DVD drive? Newegg doesn't appear to sell slot load ones.

Does it come with one built in? Where can I buy a compatible one? What size are they supposed to be?

The Rosewill Legacy MX2-S does not come included with a DVD drive. It supports a slot load type DVD drive. Meaning it will not support the standard 5.25" tray loading DVD drives. It will require a Slot Loading Slim DVD drive....those used for laptops. Just do a search for " sata slim slot load " on Newegg or other online stores. Make sure to get an internal drive

I would love to use some existing components I have in this case is there any way to push graphics card size to 295mm? light modding is ok with me
