does this model have the front 3.0 usb ports or the 2.0?

It has one 3.0 usb and than 2 2.0 usb's I do believe, be careful when installing the wire though, when I first put it together with my mobo none of them made a difference. So I wondered why and upon further looking at my mobo I realized it had a specfic placement on it for 3.0's, it works fine now but I couldnt really see the purpose on the front of it for a 3.0 until I plugged in my phone charger on it and realkzed it charges 3x quicker than the 2.0's but for mice/gaming accesories it's not much of a change imo. It's a really light case though; I can one arm curl it with everything in it, aand there's still tons of space, so I defintely reccomend it but you're looking for alot of 3.0's ports you might be disappointed.

Question 2

Does the front panel USB 2.0 come with cables?  Or do I need to buy them separately?

I'm unsure I understand your question, and what kind've USB2.0 cables you're looking to find (male-female, male-male, USB - USB micro, etc...).  However, the case comes with all the built-in Front-panel bus connector cables for your motherboard (USB, HDAUDIO, Power and HDD connectors, etc...).  Other than that, there are no additional USB cables.

Yeah I think your card is like 10 inches long, you have over a foot of space in there for your card I'm pretty sure.  I've built 2 pc's with this case, one with a $250 card and one with a $350 card, both with dual fans and everything like that.  I think you'll be fine.

Question 4

My question is about the case material because it says "SECC Steel". A friend of mine told me that I have to touch the steel part of the case if I'm working with the motherboard and the processor for anti-static so I dont have to buy the anti static wrist wrap. So I know this is kind of stupid question but is this case built with real steel?

The case is manufactured of steel. I moved an Asus mother board power supply, video card and the rest of the components from a horizontal case to this vertical case. I did not use a static wrist strap nor have I ever used static wrist strap during building or maintenance of any steel desktop computer case I have owned over the years. One just needs to apply a little common sense and not do things that could cause a buildup of static electricity in ones body while working inside the computer. Touching the steel case should disapate any static buildup in your body. Hope this addresses you question.

Question 5

Will I need a fancy power supply to power the 3 fans? I notice that most power supplies only come with one fan output.

Great news, Chris! Most fans come with both 3-pin (to motherboard) and molex plugs (you can run to PSU). I was able to use the 3 included fans, plus another 120mm fan on the side panel. I actually bought 2 Challenger cases, swapped the front fan from and used on the side of the other. Then, bought a couple of red fans (for my daughter) on the other case. The stock blue fans are quieter than the red ones (non-Rosewill). And just enough room for a Hyper 212 Plus CPU fan.
Screwless bays for HDD and optical drives are great and very easy to use. Decent design for cable management allowing for good airflow. Also bought a Rosewill PSU, which has mesh sleeving over the wires that look cool, especially with clear side panels.
For the price (and sometimes it does go on sale or has rebates) this is a great buy.

Can you put an HDMI port on this? If so how would i put it on

Well, your motherboard should have an HDMI port on it, so the rear of the computer will automatically have a port if you put in said motherboard. I hope this answered your question!

Will a GeForce GTX 660 graphics card fit in this case? Card dimensions are 10.2" x 5.2" x 1.5" according to newegg.

I have MSI Z87-G45 GAMING Intel Z87 Motherboard  & GTX 760...

So GTX 660 will fit right of bat..

Yes GTX 760 takes too much space and you will loose PCI slots because of size of the card..

I find this box is very simple and useful ...but bit lite...and you might need to handle with bit extra care...

Do you think that I can fit my ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER LGA 1151 Intel Z170 ATX Intel Motherboard and GTX 970 4GB SC GAMING ACX 2.0 into the case? Complete noobie here, so please a straight answer...

Although I can't answer to a specific to address your motherboard, the case is designed to take standard ATX motherboards. I'm using a MSI 785GM-P45 mATX with a 6.75 inch 8400GS video card.

I would say that a standard ATX MoBo would fit just fine, as to the video card- depends on actual length and clearance to the CPU cooling fan.

Being that you are a confessed "noobie" (we all were at one point) it's a lot of do it your self and see what happens. I know that in my situation, I've been lucky and every system that I've built for myself and customers has been perfect. The only concern I've ever had was cooling. You've heard the saying that heat kills and it's the first rule of a self built system.

That does not give you much of an answer to your specific question, but understand, you are building a unique system- unique to you. There may be others out there that have done what you are doing with the exact parts you are using. I'm not one of them.

I can only say:
Yes, a standard ATX motherboard will fit as described by the specifications.
The video card clearance could be an issue- not the length, but the clearance side to side with the CPU Fan. A video card that takes up two slots will probably not fit well. But- I'm just guessing here. A standard single slot video card SHOULD fit.

Can it hold an SSD without buying a bracket seperatly?

I would consider buying brackets unless your ssd came with them. This case only comes with 3.5" drive bays and no 2.5" drive brackets for ssd drives.
