Q: How loud are the stock fans?

They seem really quiet overall. I wont say they are the quietest fans ever, but they are incredible for stock case fans.

Does this case light up with Blue Lights as it looks like it does in the picture? Thank you for the assistance.

I have had this case for three months, and the case does light up exactly like shown. There is also a led fan for the top of the case aswell. I personally love this case just because it's so hard to find a blue case these days, that is this well built.

Question 2

What is that divot on top?  At first I thought it was a handle, but in one of the pictures it looks like it has ports at the bottom that resemble a SATA connection.

I too believe it is a connection for an external SATA drive.  Have not experimented with it, but it appears a drive could be placed down slope and function reasonably well in that slot...

Question 3

I am new to making computers and I wanted to know if a MSI ATX DDR3 2133 Motherboard 970 GAMING would fit inside this case?

Short answer: Yes

Long answer:
In Nov. 2013 I bought this case with an ASUS GTX770-DC2OC

The Asus website lists my card at 10.7" x 5.2" x 1.6"
The MSI website lists that card at 10.6" x 5.6" x 1.4"

My card clears the side fan by a little over an inch.  Your taller card should still clear the side fan by at least a half an inch.

My card clears the drive bays with about 2 inches to spare, so you are fine there, even if you choose to mount a 3.5" HDD at the same height.  However, unless you are using a lot of drives, this won't even be necessary.

Yes, the lights are built into the fans (the two fans in front, and one on top, and I believe one inside).  The lights are on as long as the fans are connected to power.  It does glow pretty bright.  I have noticed that the lights are on even if the machine is in sleep, which is a bit annoying, but I think that is a problem stemming from the motherboard, not the case.

Question 5

I am planning on upgrading my current system one piece at a time. I was hoping to get the case first. My one concern with this case is the caveat regarding the USB 3.0 motherboard connector. I assume this is due to the front panel USB 3.0 ports, but wanted to make sure there were no other ramifications.  Would it be okay to use temporarily w/o USB 3.0 connector on MoBo? My current MoBo does not have a USB 3.0 connector, but new one will :D.

Yes you can ,but the usb 3 external socket's will not work until you get the motherboard with the internal connection. I have this case running with water cooled amd fx , I installed a dual fan radiator that really did not fit I made modifications to make it work . A single fan radiator will work ok. Its not a Cadillac case , but for the money it has many good features , I am satisfied with it

Question 6

I am having an issue installing my HDD in the 3.5" bays. The SATA cable is protruding out to the point I can't close the access panel. Do I need a mounting tray or am I just orienting the HDD incorrectly?

I had my HDD oriented so that the cables went towards the right side panel (when facing the case) and then fed through the cable organizers to the motherboard. If they're oriented the other way for you then that might be the problem.

If not, it's still a pretty tight fit. You can warm up the sata cables a little if they're stiff or if not just gently bend them in such a way that they do not stick too far out past the connector that goes into the HDD itself and then everything should close up nicely.

does this case have somewhere to put a cd in like read/write??? i am going to buy this to make my new pc and i need to know if i can install windows 7 on it sorry if his is a dumb question as i am new to pc building

Yes, there are four 5-1/4" bays available in the front of this case so you could install that many if you wanted. I completed a build with this case about a month ago which included four hard drives, two large video cards, a liquid CPU cooler and modular power supply. It had a sufficient amount of room for everything.

I was wondering if the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 220-G2-0750-XR 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified would fit in this case? ( I am new to making computers )

this is the power supply i'm using in that case at the moment,

looking at the specs (only the dimensions of the power supply it's self) it should fit tho you may find it a tight fit with the bottom 120mm fans should you choose to install 1 or both of them. hope this helps :)

I'm buying this motherboard, GIGABYTE GA-H87-D3H LGA 1150 Intel H87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard for this case. Is it compatible?

First LOVE this case.  Lots of quiet fans like 6.  I only use 1 but that is your choice.

Love the esata drop drive on top.  How many times are you fussing with opening and closing your system to play with a rouge hard-drive.

Yes, the Motherboard will be just fine.

PWR supply on bottom.  Case has bottom screen filter but does require the pwr supply to be lifted.  << Bummer.

The side doors are not sturdy as I would like.  Small compliant.

Running wires behind the motherboard is simple.  Remove both doors when building and hide as many wires behind as possible.

Top Optical bay is tight, use the 2nd one instead.

Otherwise built TWO system AMD ATX board awesome case.

You have a great board yourself.  I am a Gigabyte fan.  I suspect you have two esata ports one on back and one esata to connect the top esata with a POWER connector to boot.
