Mind did not, there may be a deal, but I highly suggest buying the 2 separately,  usually the psu is really bad with combos.

Would you say this case is quiet?

Pretty much so yes, on start up it can make noise, but that goes away street a few moments... under a heavy load it can, but 9/10, it's silent or not much worse than any other case.

What is preventing me from using a 280mm Radiator? It has support for two 140mm fans...

In response to this, I bought the WolfAlloy recently and figured out why the 280mm will not work. It is the proximity of the radiator to the motherboard processors and heatsinks. The radiator would be too close (hitting in a bad way) the motherboard.

Question 4

So I noticed that this is orange in color, but I read in “the way it looks” that the LED’s are red, either is that true, or it is possible to replace them with red?

The grill is actually painted orange.  The LEDs behind the orange grill are red.  I haven't removed the front panel so I can't tell you if you could easily change the grill color or not.  The overall appearance of the orange grill with red LEDs is more orange than red.

What is a good intel motherboard to use that will accommodate all the fans?

Accepted Answer

Any board that has 4 or 5 system fan pins/headers. You will not find this on a Micro ATX or Mini ITX board. Go ATX. Depends on what cpu socket you go with. However, you don't need to have all the pins on the motherboard to use all of the fans. You can hook them directly up to your psu or if you are very fancy to a fan controller. I have 2 hooked up to my motherboard, and 2 to my psu via molex connections.

In short if you insist on using a motherboard for your fan headers, you will want to filter your results to an ATX mobo. I can't specify beyond that because I don't know what cpu socket you are going for (I. E. lga 2011, 2011 v3, 1150, 1151 etc).

Can anyone confirm that the orange mesh plate on the front is removable? I'd like to paint it blue, if possible.

Yes you can remove the orange mesh plate. It's held in place by 8 screws.

Question 8

Looking to install a top internally mounted 240 mm sealed liquid cooling system in this case will this actually work with a larger sized motherboard? I only ask because I see pictures of what looks to be a 240 mm radiator but I don't see the fans on it.

It's a tight fit for mine, with the RAM installed, but it does work, just need to install one before the other, if I remember correctly I installed RAM first to be able to click it down

is there a dust filter for the front fans besides the orange mesh?

Yes, there are removable dust filters in front of the two fans in the front and another removable dust filter on bottom of the case.

Question 10

For the front USB 3.0 ports. Do the USB 2.0 ports work without hooking the 3.0 ports up to the MOBO? I'm going to have the case a bit before I have a few other things so was thinking about throwing my current rig into this case for now.
