Does this actually support up to 3 TB hard drives? I have bought external enclosures in the past that say they do support up to 3 TB but actually do not.

I'm using Windows 7 and yes, this enclosure actually supports a 3 TB Drive. My Seagate shows up as having 3,000,457,228,228 bytes. I own 3 different types of external enclosures and this one is my favorite. The fan keeps the drive cool and drive insertion and removal is fast and requires no tools.

Question 2

does it support 2.5" drive also?

It only fits a 2.5 if the  Bottom Screw holes match the 3.5 inch drive.  I am not familiar with the 2.5 as I never open up my laptop and all my storage drives are from Desktops.  Looking inside the unit, I see not provision to insert the 2.5 drive.

Is designed to wall mount?

No. It comes with a bracket that allows you to stand it up on its side or you can lay it flat like in the pic. I have mine flat. Acutally, I keep mine in the safe.
There is no provision for wall mounting.

Question 4

Has anyone used this enclosure for a DVR Extender with their Verizon Fios TV Services? Does this enclosure recognize on your receiver?

It's an enclosure for a hard drive. Thus, as long as an external hard drive can normally be recognized on your DVR, this will work just as well. I don't have specific experience with your DVR, but I have had a drive plugged into two different routers and one DVR and all registered fine.

Question 5

Drive isn't connecting with a Mid-2008 MacPro. What is wrong?

Sounds like a driver issue, you may have to download a driver for your OS. I had a MacPro but got this drive bay after I sold the Mac. I did have an older single drive bay attached and I had to download a driver for it to work properly.
