Question 1

If I put two drives in the device will each drive appear as a separate drive in windows explorer? Or can I only access one drive at a time? Windows 7

they are separate but on the same bus, so if you are done with Drive A and want to put Drive C in the enclosure, you have to eject both Drive A and Drive B.

Then I normally turn it off, Put Drive C in place of Drive A and power back up with Drive B and Drive C loaded.

If you try to hot swap a drive, it will eject the drive you didn't move.

Question 2

Now do I need to get buy extra usb cables, or does this come complete? Rosewill RDDO-12002 Rigid aluminum casing and internal plastic shield 2.5" & 3.5" SATA USB2.0 & eSATA Docking Station. Thank you

Question 3

If I insert 2 HDDs from Mac Pro in this device that are striped (RAID 0), will I be able to access the single logical volume through USB?

I would doubt it will work as a Raid since the Raid feature is through the internal SATA controller and this is connecting via USB.   It would be worth a try and as long as you don't initialize the drives you should be safe trying.

Question 4

I have a 3TB hard drive and Windows XP 32bit. I can not use the HDD right now. Would I be able to use this to short cut it? I have a usb 3TB drive already and it works fine.

I know why XP wont use the drive (GPT) but will using the usb port some how skip this problem like the usb drive I have now?

Have you try using a partition tool?  i have the same problem with 3TB+ HD.  Use the partition tool to cut the HD partition and format it.  It works for me.

I think it depend on the OS.  I have windows 7 pro, and it doesn't read it properly in the beginning.

This Rosewill really works great.  I connect with eSATA with 1 HD.  Use USB it you connect 2 HD in the dock.  Speed slower but you get to have additional space.

I have tried other brands, it locks up when you transfer big files.
