Does this work with the Corsair 750D style drive lock system?

These work to make any 3.5 style drive the same diameter as a 5 1/2 style.
just use the hardware provided by corsair to mount the drive. if it's a clip style, just pull out the clip and insert the drive to the proper position. And release.

Is this compatible with the 5.25" drive bays in the Cooler Master HAF 912 case?

I haven't tried it personally but the dimensions should work. I haven't had a problem in any cases that can fit a 5.25" drive. Short answer: Yes.
