How does a mechanical keyboard with these on feel compared to a hybrid? It seems like putting these on will just turn it into a DIY hybrid

No it will not even be close to a hybrid. This just reduces the travel down on the key. A hybrid keybord has a membrane with a click. Adding these O Rings just makes a mechanical key bottom out sooner, but still after it travels. The mechanical bump is still there, and the click is still there depending on the switches in the keyboard.

What is the thickness?

About 1 mm measuring with a ruler.

Here is some evidence of about how thick the rings are when stretched out on the base of key.  I use Cherry MX red keys on my keyboard.  They have total depress distance of 4 mm and an activation distance of 2 mm. So my keys have to move at least 2 mm to work.  I am able to put two rings on each key, and they still work fine.  Three works on some keys and not on others. (I like the shorter overall depress distance.)

Un-stretched the O-Ring measures .4 CM ID and .9 CM OD, but they do stretch a bit being silicon and all.

How many rings come in a pack? I have a 88 key + 5 macro keyboard.

I had an 88 key piano once, sweet. Anyway, I bought this item and ringed all 104 keys of a Corsair K70, which is a 104 key board with multiple supports on the space bar and I had many extra rings.

So thickness is 2mm and it reduce travel distance by 0.2mm. right?

I'm not sure exactly how much these reduce the travel distance but on and off theres a pretty big difference. Im running brown mechanicals and it dampens the bottom out nicely and gives a nice sproing to non-bottom outs. They are thin enough that I was able to double ring certain keys.

What's the throw reduction?

There is some, but I find it imperceptible when actually typing. I didn't install all of them at once, there being over a hundred keys to tackle; during the period when some keys were dampened and others weren't, I couldn't tell them apart without specifically focusing on doing so.

Question 7

Do they improve key switch longevity? Is there any wobble? Is sensitivity good?

I have been using these for almost 2 years now. I work Mon-Fri, 8-12 hours per day. No sign of wearing out. What I really love about these is that they dampen the clicky sound just enough that my cubicle residing co-workers don't get annoyed. Personally, I like the clicky sound and there's enough of that to satisfy me.
