will this webcam work with windows 7 and a hp pavilion?

Short answer: Yes. Works great wired, good color. Works with 7 pro. Haven't tried my HP (Envy). Have not really tried the wireless part (failed first attempt). If I had to do over, I'd get one that has pan and tilt...and an antenna.

Question 2

Can you view this camera from a mobile device like an iphone or ipad? can you view this items on a mobile device when you are out of the house or office area, but still have internet connection somewhere?

Yes, you can use the eaglesense app (for both android or iphone) which connects to the c4mi website (all free, they provide an activation code for c4mi). Connecting directly to the camera (if you open firewall ports, or over the LAN), it requires an IE active-x plugin so the browsers are a bit limited.

Question 3

During first time installation, I have given admin and admin as user id and password not acceptng the same next time when ltrying to loggin.How to go about the same ?

I do not know much about these things. I just keep trying or contact customer service of manufacturer.

The only way I know is to reset the device using the reset button, which needs to be pressed for 5 seconds. I think that needs to be done, while camera is powered.

WPS button worked fine for me for wireless connection. Most routers have WPS button.
