I have a couple and they work flawlessly. Immediately recognized by Windows XP through 8 without any additional drivers.

I use just for IDE drives that are only occasionally on. I don't know about heat dissipation if they were to run continuously in a warm environment.

I need to know if this product will fit an old Quantum Fireball HD in pulled off my parents computer? Part number QML40000LD-A 3.5 series.

While I don't own the particular drive you inquire about, I do own this enclosure and I would say that this product would fit.  The hdd I have in this enclosure measures approximately 4inX5.75inX1in. From what information I could find about your hdd, its dimensions are about the same and it uses the PATA (IDE) interface (flat ribbon data cable) . This enclosure has a small segment of both the ribbon cable and a 4-pin molex power connector.

Question 3

Will this enclosure work for Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 80gb SATA internal hard drive?  My Dell desktop's motherboard went bad and I'm trying to recover data from the internal disc.

Ron - the "RX35-AT-IU SLV" will not work for your SATA hard drive  because it has an IDE interface.  You need to get an external enclosure with a SATA interface, like this one: "RX35-AT-SC BLK"

anybody else have issues with this enclosure powering a maxtor hdd? I did.

I bought this a few months ago to place my wifes old hard drive in that I removed from her old, dead cpu. I had no issues with the install or recovery of information.

What are the internal drive connections?  IDE or SATA or both?

It depends on the model you purchase. The one I bought has an IDE data connector and a molex power connector.

Works well with the older 15 (yes 15) gig hard drive I installed. Rosewill is an exellent brand that I would recommend to anyone. Never had any problems with their products.

Just be sure to specify which model you want when you add it to your cart.

If it is a standard size hard drive and will fit in the case.  I used it for a standard size Western Digital 3200.

Looks like it should. This enclosure is very versatile and should fit all 3.5 IDE HDDs. I was able to pull an old seagate out of another enclosure and put into this this one with no trouble at all.

does this product have a 4 pin ac adaptor for power?

The simple answer to your question is: No.  I'm not sure if you mean "4 pins" on the AC (input) or DC (output) side.  The power supply as supplied has a 2 pin input standard for U.S. 120 volt AC power.

The power supply will accept 100 - 220 volt, 50 - 60 Hz AC, but you will need a pin adapter to plug it in to a non-U.S. standard source.

The output is 12 volts DC up to 2 Amps of current.  The output connector is a single hollow pin, with the positive connection on the inside of the pin, and the negative connection on the outside.
