is there a docking enclosure  that will accept a 4" hd?

For the next person (since it's a question from 2021). There isn't a standard nominal HDD size called 4". You're probably measuring the width of a the case of a 3.5" HDD, which is 4" wide. The 3.5" refers to the diameter of the platters inside, not the enclosure size.

Can this Sabrent docking station be used to format old hard drives?

The FORMAT command comes up when I right-click the drive in File Manager.  I haven't had to format any yet but I have no doubt it will.

I need to replace the power supply for this but I don't now the dc socket size for it? Do you know the dc plug size for the socket?

Hi Michael, It should show at the back of the docking. Suggested you double confirm with manufacturer in case the model you got is different. Maybe you can check the warranty status and ask for replacement.

Can I clone the OS hard drive with this?
