I am looking to upgrade the ssd on an asus Tuf a18 (2025) - would it be worth using this drive on the gen4 framework and AMD 7 processor?

Why did Samsung and WD wait so long to jump into the PCIe 5.0 x 4 market?

It took a long time for the controllers to get up to the 15-16GB/sec which the gen5 bus provides, and when they did they were way too hot for a while.
