Does this come with an adapter for 3.5" drive bays ?

This model does not come with a 3.5" bay adapter. However, Newegg carries adapters which can hold one or two SSDs at a time, many of which are under $5.

I don't know exactly because it's installed in my PC, but the SSD was very light. Almost no weight to it. I hope this helps.

will this fit in mac book pro 2011?

Depends n the type of HD is used in your laptop. If it's the chip version (which you can also order of this model) or the encased one that is 2.5. If it's the 2.5 then yes. I've installed this as a second drive inside my Mac mini and it still has a little wiggle room. Probably the best choice I made and well worth the cost. Mine runs faster, starts up faster, photoshop processes are nearly instant, improved speed in every way. You won't regret it.
