Full HD 1080p with HDMIThe realistic detail of Full HD images invites you to enjoy a viewing experience that redefines reality. Two HDMI input connectors allow easy connection to a variety of AV equipment such as Blu-ray player, game console and more.
Clear Motion Rate of 120Experience sharp picture quality, even when you are watching fast-moving images like sports or action movies. Clear Motion Rate was developed to accurately measure how well an LCD or LED TV can depict fast-moving images. Previously, motion-clarity was calculated by the frame refresh rate alone. But CMR offers a more complete measure by calculating 3 factors: frame refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology. LED TVs with a CMR of 60 -120 can display action-packed movement with sharp detail and vivid contrast while eliminating image distortion.
Wide Color Enhancer PlusWide Color Enhancer Plus allows you to see picture color the way the director originally intended. Witness the entire RGB spectrum brought to life on your screen to bring you exceptionally vibrant, yet natural-looking images faithful to the director's original intent.
Eco SensorThe unique Eco light sensor measures the intensity of the room's light and automatically calibrates the brightness of the image on the screen. In a sun-filled environment, the screen gets brighter and in dim surroundings, the intensity is reduced. This feature optimizes the viewing experience while also saving you energy.
ENERGY STAR V 5.3 CompliantGo green and save the planet. This Samsung TV not only meets ENERGY STAR requirements; it exceeds them. This means more energy savings, lower utility bills and leaving a smaller carbon footprint on the environment.
ConnectShare MovieConnectShare Movie lets you watch videos, play music or view photos from a USB connection without needing to use a PC or special equipment. Simply plug your USB directly into your Samsung TV’s USB port and watch on the big screen with friends and family.
Pros: 1) It's a Samsung LED (you can do no better)
2) Price...sort of
Cons: 1) Not network capable
2) Price...sort of
Overall Review: This is the first Newegg item I have ever purchased in which I tried to utilize the Iron Egg price guarantee. Turns out the Iron Egg program is not what it appears to be. Five days after I purchased this unit I found it at a local retailer for $100 less - exact same model. I submitted the form to claim my refund and Newegg welched on the deal. Only after requesting an RMA did Newegg offer me a $50 gift card. I didn't want to hassle with sending the unit back, so I let them treat me unfairly and I took the deal. Just be aware that the Iron Egg price guarantee is a come-on that Newegg does not honor.
Pros: Universally high rated on all sites except this one.
Cons: It's a gamble which panel you'll get.
Overall Review: Newegg, please tell us which panel Samsung used in your batch of these TVs.
You can tell which panel the TV has by the "Version" on the sticker outside of the box. There's also a sticker on the back of the TV; the "Version" code is below the Model number and above the S/N.
TH0x or TS0x: Samsung S-PVA panel (possibly just a PVA, if you're less lucky). Best color, best black, best viewing angles.
HS0x: Sharp ASV panel: Lower contrast ratio, more narrow viewing angle.
A_0X: AOU A-MVA panel: Even lower contrast ratio.
CH0x or CM0x or CS0x: Chimea S-MVA panel
The "x" is a number, probably from 1-4, that represents the version of that panel - higher means newer but not always better.
Pros: -Great Picture.
-Bright and Vibrant colors.
-Easy to use menu.
-Thin frame.
Cons: -After about 90 days of owning this TV I noticed a cluster of about 7-9 dead (black) pixels near the top left of the TV.
-Speakers are not very good (even for a TV).
-Only 2 HDMI inputs.
Overall Review: I know theirs a risk of dead pixels with any TV but I heard good things from Samsung so we will see how the RMA goes with Samsung.
Pros: Snagged this bad boy for 450 bucks during the holidays. Really good quality, good viewing angle (45 degrees+), no dead pixels. Only 2 HDMI ports, but for most people that isn't a problem. Would buy again
Cons: Sounds better when hooked to external speakers. On most movies you get an annoying almost vibrating effect. I have a pair of $60 speakers and a $75 stereo, and it works great, no delays or anything. Its running off of the audio out, not digi as well.
Overall Review: Had some issues getting my xbox 360 to connect to it. 1080P isn't fully scaled right for some reason, on a slightly lower resolution it is much much more crisp. Not that noticeable during games though.
Samsung makes great TV's that are best in their class4/11/2014 2:38:46 PM
Pros: Samsung makes great TV's that surpass every other manufacturer in their class. I have this TV as well as another Samsung in my house and I can tell you the image is beautiful. The only drawback with this TV its not a smart TV and you would need to use a WiFi router like Google TV or a Roku to get it to connect to the internet. This is why I gave this TV 4 stars instead of 5. But if this is not an issue then this TV is great.
One thing that I have found with TV's that its very important to actually look at the TV in person. Now when you look at the TV's, go to a store to see them, because many times specialty stores like Best Buy play with the lighting controls on the TV and in the store to skew the image to there advantage. Once you look at the TV simply look and decide which one looks better to you.
Thank you for reading my review, if you have any questions feel free to email me, I would be happy to help you with any questions you have.
Cons: Nothing
Overall Review: If this review was helpful, please click yes that this review was helpful, it goes a long way.
Pros: Decent image quality. Media Play function is neat. Speakers better than some.
Cons: Confusing remote. TV picture lags a bit when changing channels. USB quit working. So-so picture quality.
Overall Review: Before you get confused, this TV had good image quality at first, but about five weeks into ownership, the USB port quit working. The repairman replaced the main board, and now the TV image quality looks so-so.
The odd thing about this is that the new board did not fix the USB problem. The repairman had to select the reset option inside the service menu to get the USB working again, but evidently, the new board is either bad or needs calibrating because 1080 & 720 content look diminshed compared to before.
I called Samsung about the new board image quality, but the rep wanted to blame the problem on me not using an HDMI cable. Which is preposterous, because I have no HDMI components yet. Did the rep not know that you can get a quality Hi-Def signal via RG-6 cable?

Pros: - Really nice picture. Haven't finished adjusting the colors yet though.
- The price is really good for a SAMSUNG TV. The only brand I buy for TVs.
- No dead pixel! ( yet )
Cons: - It took me an hour to make it work properly with my computer. The screen was awful and the text pixelated.
- The package seemed to be damaged.
Overall Review: If you want to use this TV as a monitor make sure you go into Menu>Source>Edit Name>DVI-PC. It will fix the screen problems in an instant.
Pros: 1) It's a Samsung LED (you can do no better) 2) Price...sort of
