Yes, as unlocked GSM phones work with any sim based cellular company, however, there may be data issues.

As long as you have the correct SIM card, this phone should function with any carrier that supports Android technology. Mine works via a sub-carrier on the T-Mobile network. I also suggest you add a 16GB micro storage disc card to boost the phones memory capacity.

I looked in the setup for Chinese, but didn't see it.  However there are symbols at the bottom of the language list I do not recognize.  It could be Chinese but not sure. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Yes I believe it is, but I am from New York City, United States and it works perfectly fine and perfectly normal. My phone carrier is Simple Mobile. I believe Simple Mobile works under Tmobile.

Yes it is. I think it is compatible with other carriers that use the GSM networks. I bought this same phone from this same website and I am from NYC. I use this phone under the carrier named Simple Mobile which I believe is a company that is partnered up with Tmobile. My cousin also uses a G3 under Tmobile

can I use this phone with Straight talk service?

Yes.  We have three of these phones using Straight Talk.   The only issue we had was with their web based sign up program.  We ended up taking the phones to the K-MART store where we purchased the re fill cards and they were able to get everything straightened out.  I recommend you skip the website and start at the store.  Customer support via the phone is also frustrating.   When we tried calling we got someone with very poor English skills.   That said,  I love the phone and have no plans of going back to my old provider.
